thx for the info. I thought that the fuel and vacuum lines were different sizes. I'm not looking forward to removing the body panels but it has be done. i'm really surprised that the scooter is shiped with gas in it. I thought it was against the law to that. I must have been mis-informed...as usual.

You can use 1/4" fuel lines if you want, but I went with 3/16" for both fuel and vacuum. There is enough gas in it to start the scoot. This is my second scoot ordered over the internet and both had gas in them when they arrived. I thought the same, but there is enough in the scooter to start it.

I'm having issues with the shipping company so no the scooter is still at some terminal. When I checked on line with the tracking no. it says it was to be delivered today, they told me the same thing over the phone yesterday. So I called this morning to get an eta and was told between 1:00-2:30 today. 2:30 comes around and i call again. They tell me that the truck has 3 deliveries and then will get to me. . .so before 5pm today. 5:00 comes and nothing so I called again and was told that it will be delivered by 5pm tomorrow! Why i asked and they said the scooter never made it on the truck. But I was told something else I told them and why has nobody called me to inform me. They hung up on me. Frustrated I called Sandy and explained what was going on. I was so pissed at the shipping company Vision Express that I was going to cancel the whole deal. Instead Sandy asked for a chance to see what was going on and promised to call me right back. She called a few minutes later and told me to expect a call from Vision Express very shortly. Someone did call me and explained that it was a screw upon their regional transport company here in VA. Regardless, since no one called me to inform me of the change. Long story short . . . they promised it will get here before noon tomorrow. I'll give them till 5pm and if it's not here by then, I'm cancelling the order and they can ship it right back to Superiorowersports. May sound a bit extreme but I don't put up with being lied to especially when it's a service I paid for. As for Superiorpowersport, they did nothing wrong other than using a bad shipping company.

I wonder why they didn't ship it FedEx LTL. I'm sure by the end of the day tomorrow you'll be a happy camper. BTW what color did you get?

I wanted Black or silver but they had none so I got Blue. I'm sure ur right about tomorrow...I hope so anyway. Damn trucking co. made me hang around work longer than needed. It was just a little disappointing...last night I went to sleep thinking I'll be on the scooter today. It's almost like opening a gift to find nothing inside.

I finally got the scooter but I will never buy from these people again. I ordered a MC-250B and today while trying to flush the radiator, I noticed the head was vertical and not horizontal. It has a honda clone engine! I am not a happy camper right now. I called Sandy and all she could say was that's what Roketa sent them. Man I'm pissed.

Are you sure? I don't think the honda engine would fit. Take some pictures and post them.

This body style comes with either the Linhai (257cc) or CfMoto (244cc) engine. The wheelbase for the CfMoto variant is longer than the Linhai. The body style is a Honda Reflex clone. Here's the scoot with the Honda clone engine. Notice that the exhaust pipe from the engine is vertical going into the muffler.

Sorry to hear about your problem, axplayer. This is definitely not the "B" model you ordered. Hopefully you used either PayPal or your credit card. I would dispute the charge since the item received is not what you ordered.

Unfortunately, I used a debit card so disputing this may just cause me more heartache and stress. Besides I can live with the CFMoto engine since I read that it is a very reliable engine and I'm sure I'll be glad it's a Honda clone when it comes to adjust the valves. The botom line is that Superiorpowersports DO NOT KNOW what they are selling when it comes to engines. A friend of mine is looking to purchase a 50cc and I have been telling him how great this vendor is....believe me, he will not be purchasing it from superiorpowersports now. God....I'm going to get drunk and try to forget about this.

I would call Superior Powersports with no expectations and explain that the "B" was what you ordered and this is not a "B". Even if Rocketa is at fault, you bought the scoot from Superior and you as the customer should not have to accept something you didn't order. Maybe Superior might consider some kind of compensation to you for your trouble and your willingness to keep the wrong scoot. It would certainly go a long way in good customer relations and a better standing on the forum and the scoot community in general. Maybe a 10% kickback to you would be agreeable. In any case, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

The Linhai and CfMoto scoots each have their pros and cons. Reliability of both scoots is comparable. I'm trying to make you feel better about the Honda clone, so the following will be pros.

The Honda clone is easier to maintain. This engine has excellent reliability and a great longevity record. Parts availability for repairs and mods are more available than other 250cc's. The longer wheelbase, I think, gives a better ride. And your Honda clone bodywork now has a matching Honda clone engine. You now have a genuine 100% Honda clone. ;D

Too bad it isn't yellow.

Yellow is good for hangovers and is a mood enhancer.

I emailed them last night and explained exactly that Cruiser. Asked them to credit my card the difference between a 250b and Roketa type 13. I also said I'll wait for ten days for some sort of response so we can resolve this, if not I will go ahead and dispute the whole purchase with the debit card company. In the mean time I need to figure out what the hell is draining the battery (I already removed the radio/mp3 fuse since it stopped working on the second day). I couldn't find the fuse for the alarm and I didn't want to disconnect the harness because I wasn't sure if it would start with a key after that. The scooter does run smooth and feels powerful so I can live with that but I would like some sort of compensation for the screw up.
