Granted my scooter is not a GY6, but it is a 150cc.

I've now got 5000 miles on Peggy Sue and the only problem so far is a newly broken muffler bolt. I believe the bolt is a M10 x 1.5 by about 60 mm long. So anyone know where to get a replacement chrome plated flange head bolt?

Try Lowes. I found a nice selection metric bolts in the fastener drawers, including some exhaust bolts I had to replace.

The Tractor Supply right down the street from me has an awesome bolt, nut, and hard to find parts section. Also there's Fastenal that has about every kind of fastener you can imagine, there's one in Talladega where I work. Lowe's is good like Josh said, also our Home Depot has a cool nut and bolt section. ace hardware is where i bought grade 8 studs for my project. I tried tractor supply here and no studs but every thing else. Heck Napa did not even have them other than a cheep grade 2.. and they where standard sizes

I had the same problem, although mine fell off quite some time ago I finally got around to fixing it the other while doing a lot of other bolt replacements. I found it in Lowes although mine was m8 1.25 I added thread lock to mine.
