Oh summer days are leaving. I have had thin short and T-shirts for the last several months. Tonight I left in the day when it was warm but when I came home still in shorts and T-shirt I was a little chilly. I guess I'll go back to keeping a windbreaker in my storage.

It was definitely cold here and we had 40 - 50 mph winds at times.

Tommy, I keep up with the Asheville weather as I have 2 sons who live there and I was raised there. It is about time for it to start cooling down there in the Smokies. Here in the NGA and Atlanta area we had 7 weeks of record breaking high 90's and heat indices over 100 degrees. It was HOT, humid, and unpleasant. Am going on a group ride in a couple of weeks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Will take my TGB Del. 150 and possibly my Tomos Revival on the back of my TTMH. (TTMH= teeny tiny motor home). Should be fun. Will wear helmet, heavy jeans, boots, gloves, and a WindShear jacket. It gets chilly up there in the mornings. Shorts, T shirts, and tenny pumps are a great way to get a gravel tattoo and leave a lot of your own hide on the highway if you go down. Personally I am rather attached to my 74 year old hide and plan to keep it as long as possible.
