I just converted my scooter to a 4" cone air filter and I removed all the old air filter housing. I get excellent speed. on the old housing was a small box that I assumed was for draining moisture and what not. but there were two 1/4" lines run to the original housing and I cut the 4" box off old housing and just ran the two lines directly into that. I am wondering what I should actually do with those two lines one goes up to the carburetor and I am assuming it is like a warm air circulation line in the air intake. What should I actually do with those two lines.
one line runs up toward the carburetor the other runs along the frame to the front. I am unsure of what to do with the hoses at this point.
the line from up by carb ran into the top of the old air cleaner housing. the other ran into that black box that was part of the old air cleaner housing. and there was a small hose that ran from black box into the bottom of the air cleaner housing. trying to see what I should properly do with each line at this point.
