"Motorcycle Sound" By pop1205 (Read 1,852 times)

Hey guys, me again! Well my MC-54-250B came with a remote start (works great) and Motorcycle sound. Well I bought this used (silly me) and the guy said the sound used to work good, but suddenly stopped. So ever since I had this I've had no motorcycle sound! Any ideas or suggestions on what to get? I checked all of my wiring (as some of you know I've been having electrical problems) and all wires are good. Just it doesn't come on.

Does the little light come on in the corner when you press the button?

Honestly you are not missing much, the radio is very poor, I never use mine.

Mine never worked. The owner of San DIego Scooter said of the 50+ he has ordered, none of the 250cc models came with working radios.

have you checked the fuse behind the radio, what about the ground

the original owner really like it! lol well i checked the little fuse and it looked good still.. i checked all of the grounds and they are connected and good. the little light does not come on when i hit the button.. is the littke silver box that has all the sound stuff a amplifier??

that little fuse is like a 2 amp fuse and could have blown...id replace it anyway...my radio never really worked, cut out on channels and all...I do use it, but only for the mp3 player hookup. I connect my mp3 player which has an fm player built in and it works fine for me :-)

The radio sucks but a MP3 works a lot better.

yeah i pkan on hooking it up to my phobe and use mp3. will be goingvto advance auto parts shortly!

The MP3 works better but the radio works fine on mine. You can actually hear it if you are moving less than 10 mph.

love my Mp3 hook up! I got a I Pod Shuffle works awesome but the antenna on the radio stinks. Do use the I pod all the time!

I can hear mine good at 55mph if I have my visor open which I usually do since my windshield blocks everything since im so short! lol but with visor closed cant really hear it good but still can. its good in town or cruising slow. I have been thinking of a mod to do, in the first place on my scoot the speakers are angled to ur feet. If I cup my hand around the speaker it directs the sound upwards where I can here it better thinking of making a black plastic mould to work same way and glue it on? also maybe run another speaker like a 5 and 1/4 in my trunk and cut a hole out of the lid to mount it with the wire ran up through a little hole in the bottom of trunk to give sound coming from behind me too?
