ever look at a resistor, it is the color code for value and tolerance
the sequence of color bands on the the resistor ( to read what the value shoud be, the tolerance is what percentage the resistor can be + or -

Not much is fixed anymore. We have turned into a throw away electronics world. Costs more to fix something than it does to replace it. Sad!
