Who here agrees that this years halftime show stunk period! I say it does! When was there ever a good show ?? I got more enjoyment of watching the halftime show on Animal Planet. So come on Roger Goodell get a reality grip!

Would have rather have seen some oldtimers rockers. I really think the guys my age put on the best shows. Any way, the halftime show was really a been there done that thing. Lots of people with lots of choreography and lights but nothing new and certainly nothing spectacular. ( You really have to consider how spoiled we've gotten with modern technology though, can you imagine what the reaction would have been if we had seen this show in 1960?)

What gets to me is that the singing is so bad. I know the acoustics in a football stadium isn't the best but I've heard people sing better at NASCAR races so I know it's possible. Just once I'd rather not hear people get "caught up in the moment" and actually sing on key.

Bowie would have been awesome, been a while since I saw him perform  I bet he could even remember the lyrics to the national anthem, at least it proves she wasn't miming. |

That link doesn't work for me, probably because I'm on my cell, but theres a rumour that she flubbed it due to someone changing the lyrics on wikipedia, the theory being she used that as a source or someone did? It wouldnt be the first time, its some kind of sport putting rubbish on wiki (normally when someone famous dies or is injured they add some spurious achievements) and seeing which news agencies repeat it without fact checking. Its almost as funny as 419er baiting.

She was horrible, her singing was horrible, and her messing up of words (regardless of her being caught up in the emotions and losing her place, as was her excuse) showed her intelligence level. Talented she is not.
I agree, Bowie would have been sensational. Always did like him. THe oldsters do it better!!
