Alien baggage pod attached to scooter unit. Time to fill baggage pod with mass quantities of consumable beverages.
Dude, that is awesome! I've got a big trunk that's pink (!) and I think you've hit the solution on the head with a hammer.
If anyone asks, I'll just tell 'em; France, it came from France.

You're hilarious! Love the Cone Heads.
I sprayed it gloss black. Light coats and first then a heavy coat. On the heavy coat the nozzle malfunction and sputtered. I then had sags. Well, I thought a satin finish would hide the bad paint. The clear satin was still too shiny so I sprayed clear flat. The clear flat wrinkled the satin underneath in places. That is when I went all out and bought some black wrinkle finish.

I like it. WHere did you get paint that has a "wrinkle finish". I think it looks terrific. It almost looks like leather. Does it come in colors other than black?

I've seen the wrinkle finish in red, but not in a long time.
I used plastic primer (Fusion) on top of the original blue. I hope it sticks.
About the plug, I just arrange the wires until I had lights. I tapped into the two tail/brake wires and Bob's your uncle!

fusion is good for plastic, but you painted it over paint. the thing about these chinese scooters is, they literally did nothing to prep the plastic surfaces before painting. the only thing holding the paint on is the rest of the paint. one chip, and the rest will start to go.
i have a spot larger than a quarter chipped off the main rear fairing. the plastic beneath is smooth as hell. not good for paint.
for best paint adhesion, always scrub with a green scotch brite pad until finish is completely dull. then use a spray on adhesion promoter. krylon fusion works well, but must be bare plastic to get the "fusion" effect
