I don't want to clutter up my Matrix thread with this question (it has enough of its own clutter), so I decided to start a new one...
When the bike is running, under normal circumstances using the generic wiring... should the turn signal bulbs be illuminated at all times as running lights?
Right now, mine will only come on as a flasher and I'm sure that at some point they came on as running lights. Or, I could be imaging things. Probably related, my license plate light doesn't come on.
Either way, I'm going to be going over the whole wiring system and probably making a new custom harness. Anyone have any recommendations for where to get a good assortment of colored wired in bulk?

Hi Josh. My VIP 50 and YY250T directionals function only as directionals and flashers in the case of the YY250T. You would need dual filament bulbs and associated wiring to have the directionals function as running lights. You might be interested in this wire assortment from Harbor Freight: www.harborfreight.com/400-ft-wire-storehouse-3384.html

I could probably get a bunch of bulk 4 color trailer wire cheap and use that.

No, generally they only come on as flashers. They are not like a car...

Check your law first...some places don't allow turning indicator/running lights...
