just received my new C7 iridium plug from scrappydawg stuff i've been reading says these plugs come pre-gapped @0.28 ; however my owners manual says gap plug to 0.08mm.
ok maybe 0.28 is in inches which is .06mm still a difference.
aside from the iridium plug debate, it's here I'm gonna use it unless it's detrimental.
guru's flame on..lol

To my Knowledge you do not gap an Iridium plug. You can damage the precious metal tip. Try using it before messing with it. Mine was installed without gaping and works just fine. The owners manual says to gap the cheap stock plug but, says nothing about an expensive pre gaped plug. This is only my opinion but gapping is unnecessary. Just Plug and Play ;D I suspect others may have a different view.

You can gap an iridium plug. You simply bend the ground without touching the electrode. You can measure between the ground and electrode with a feeler guage, you just dont want to pry against the elecrtode.
