ZNEN150T-18 , I've removed 8 bolts, I see nothing else that would be holding the cover on. My cover does have a plastic cap like device over the variator portion of the cover ; however this appears to me to be screwed on from the inside of the cover and shouldn't be a factor in the cvt cover removal. This is certainly the first time I've attempted to remove the cover and with just over 1200 miles I'd say it's still factory applied.
concerns: cover removal and gasket salvage, am I being to timid not trying to hulk it.
trying to change belt and weights
thanks

Hey Alleyoop, I didn't fully understand your comment about ground, but this morning I saw that my "1 prong" coil has a frame ground instead if a second prong, so I realize I can with a small adjustment modify the new coil.
I never did find the cdi, I'll look for it again soon, but today was the first nice day in a few days so I RODE.
Thanks for your help

Didn't have any thoughts about the grounding ,but it is true that the stock scoot coil wire is a 1 prong/connector and the one I bought has two prongs/connectors.
I say 1 prong because that is how it is described once I found it on scooterparts4less.com

I did a little of that, that's how I learned the coil wire I bought was not 1 prong. Unlike the one ordered and received from scrappydawg. Hoping I can find and use the new CDI, money wasted otherwise.

Thank you Bong that was the decision I came to as well.
plug installed, but I don't see anything that looks like a cdi, and the coil wire also from scrappydawg it's non-plug end looks nothing like the stock coil wire.
trudging on.... any input is appreciated
(update) it would seem I have The 1 prong version coil on my znen scooter...bummer

just received my new C7 iridium plug from scrappydawg stuff i've been reading says these plugs come pre-gapped @0.28 ; however my owners manual says gap plug to 0.08mm.
ok maybe 0.28 is in inches which is .06mm still a difference.
aside from the iridium plug debate, it's here I'm gonna use it unless it's detrimental.
guru's flame on..lol

What I've learned: I have a 2008 Znen/Flyscooter Cadenza 150cc. 1200 miles. Runs great I've put about 50 miles on it weather permitting. It has pulled the two very steep hills I'll be traveling regularly at just over 40mph, max throttle. My engine is a GY6-B which is common to 16" wheeled scoots like mine.
What I've done so far: New Battery Changed motor and gear oil using Royal Purple 10w40 motor, 75w90 gear. I have but yet to install a new kevlar belt 906-22.5-30. I have orderd but yet to receive DC CDI unrestricted, performance coil wire, CR7 Iridium Spark Plug.
Current Contemplations: Replaceing stock roller weights with sliders. Unsure of weight of Stock weights but am led to believe they are probably 12g. Continuing to research a modest roller to slider change and any factors concerning weight change up or down. Also wondering if a straight up clutch upgrade would be cost effective or maybe clutch spring upgrade.
My motivations are not so much about speed, but more so about an overall solidification of my scoot performance. Any imput is welcomed any info about my particular scoot brand or engine is also welcomed.
Thanks
