Ok so i know some of you have bought from SPS and had good feedback. I bought my mc-74 from them on the 9th and its on its way to NY, so far so good. I got the MCO today and expected it to say make - ROKETA. Instead it list make as KAIT and hp at 6.8, which is way lower than SPS quotes in there description of the bike.
Is Roketa just used as a generic name now? And is there really this large of a fluctuation in motors or is a GY6 a GY6? Im planning a bbk anyway but still, 6.8 is far from 9.5, lol.

Who is SPS..what sized engine? A stock 150cc engine is 7.2 HP under load. Some of the 16" wheel scooter go to 8.8 HP. The 150 P engine may get 8.6 HP...it all depends on how it is measured...
Usually it is meaningless...
If you have the first three letters or number of the VIN you can run the maker on the manufactures index...
Roketa is just a warehouse in Canada, California...
Kait has been around since 2007...who knows who makes it however...

That name is the manufacture in China. Roketa is just the importer from certain factories. Nice looking 150. I would say your hp is the 9.5 as is most GY6 engines. Enjoy it and lets us know how it runs.

>>> I would say your hp is the 9.5 as is most GY6 engines.
It depends on the RPM when it is measure and if it is free running or under load...
The spec on the GY6 engine under load at 6500 rpm is 7.2 HP
Also the CVT transmission is fairly inefficient and the horsepower to the rear wheel is about 10% less...
This is one of the most 'fudged' figures in automotive history...
