One of my favourite routes Guess it will be a while before I could ride it again. Trashed by the earthquakes. This was a video (Click on it) of one of my rides there Exact same spot. That's what I enjoyed - guess one's got to take the good and the "not so good". :dunno: www.stuff.co.nz/national/christchurch-earthquake/videos/5146744Video of fly over damage. @1:33 you can see a fly over the road - devastated. :dunno: :crying:

I pray for your safety. You live on the "rim of fire" and I really am worried about you. I have heard it said that many small earthquakes are a good thing because they release the pressure under the plates. If you went for a long time without small earthquakes, you would have one huge devestating one. Whether this is true or not, I don't know. But it does make sense to me. Anyway, you are in my prayers.

Come on. All you need is a good set of knobby tires and that road will be passable. ;D
