I have a new MS-70-150. It is running and starting fine in this warm weather, but I noticed that there is no difference in idle speed warh or cold. I pulled the enricher and could no see any movement. I then checked the connector where it plugs in. I was unable to detect any voltage present. Any ideas what I should be checking. The other symptom of it being open all the time is my fuel mileage. The first two tankfuls yielded 45 and 48mpg. I realize that it is still breaking in. Thanks

Dumb question and i dont mean to thread jack, but is it supposed to idle lower or higher after warming up?
As for your enricher i would take off the riht side body panels and trace the harness. Sounds like a fuse or short.

I think it is supposed to idle lower after warming up. My other scooter with the same carb, has a noticable difference.

Some enrichers are AC from the stator some are DC... you should have a voltage. You were probably measuring DC, switch your meter to AC and try
foretwoone
The scooter should idle at the same RPM from start to finish...
Sometimes when you start it hot, it will raise the RPM for about 10 seconds and then it should return to steady...

Will do. I will let you know. I was checking for DC.

I pulled things apart again and checked for AC. No reading. I started to trace the harness and found what I believe to be a bad connection. I took it apart and reconnected it. I then rechecked and found DC voltage. I will warm it up and see what happens. Should the idle speed change or not?
