I just got a new Roketa MC-70-150. I have about 300km on it. I have filled it twice and after the calculations I am getting 47 MPG. Is anyone else running this same scooter? I hope after breakin, the MPG will improve! What do you think? Any suggestions?

Generally after break in yes, also as you learn your performance curve, rpm/mph, you will find that backing off the throttle slightly will result in no speed reduction but better mpg. Synthetic engine oil will help as well as good rear end grease. Rear end grease in all three of ours was no better than mud, one of them had green grease, guess they didn't wait for that dinosaur to die before using him rofl! Cheapest thing for better mileage:tire pressure.

You will find that backing off the throttle slightly will result in no speed reduction but better mpg. Great point, I've found the same thing. A little less throttle from WOT equals a different engine sound and that's about it other than better mileage. Doing this on my 150cc Pegasus means a difference of 85 MPG vs 60 MPG. OK, Kountryguy, I don't want to be tacky but can I ask what you weigh? The reason I say this is because I want to make fun of you ;D. No, the thing is with these smallish engines a little more weight means a lot more HP expended vs a car where it doesn't mean that much to it. That might be a big factor in your mileage. Rich

Are you sure you don't want to make fun of me!!! Just kidding. I weigh about 200#. I have a 2005 TNG Verona with 26,000 km and I get about 75mpg, or 70 with me and my wife. The tire pressure is 30-32psi. I have not had this new scooter over 45mph yet while most has been 30-40. Hopefully, after a little more breakin and some longer and a little more speed, mileage will improve.

Shoot, I thought you'd look something like this:
Then I could go: and tell you your mileage was because of your weight. But there's never an easy out.
I have a 2005 TNG Verona with 26,000 km and I get about 75mpg Then I think something is wrong then even at that stage of break in. I guess you've did all the standard things like check the valves and plug? Rich

I've been averaging 78-82 mpg on my 150 Tank for the last 5 years.

I have checked the plug, not the valves. Another thing I want to check is the odometer for accuracy. The scooter runs great. I am a little reluctant to mess with the valves, having never done it before. The other reason is that I have seen several different settings to use. Not sure which ones to use. I guess I should get brave and try adjusting them. What numbers should I try? I have read .004 for the intake and .005 for the exhaust. I also heard .0015 and .02. Thanks for any advice.
