So here is the deal. I have not been able to get spark and I am about to light the thing on fire and be done with it.
I have bought a new stator, cdi, coil/wire and a plug. They all check out but I still dont have spark. The wiring harness looked fiddled with so I ordered a new one and should be here today or tomorrow. Everything is pretty self explanatory as far as how it all goes back in except a couple things. What color wires on the harness match up to the stator wires. Also what color wires from the harness go to the coil.
And how can I disable the alarm plug. I had it looped correctly on my old harness but when taking the harness off the wire came out and I cant find the diagram that I used to loop the plug.

Sounds like you stator pick-up coil may be the problem... Some scooters bridge the alarm between the black&white wire and the brown&white wire on the harness plug Attachments:

Yep, if the pick up coil isn't working there's nothing to tell the CDI to initiate a spark. There's two wires seperate from the main harness coming from the stator. There's one that predominantly red and one that's usually be mostly blue:
Stick your multimeter probe in as shown and ground the other probe. Set it for AC auto or the lowest range you have for AC. Crank the engine and you should get a paltry .5+v AC out of the blue wire. That is enough to initiate a spark from the CDI, if you're not getting that it's your pick up coil, not your ignition coil. I would do a simple resistance check by unplugging the connector at the CDI and check the black/white or gray/white wire to see if it reads a low resistance to ground. This is the wire from the ignition switch and kill switch which turns off the engine by shutting off the CDI. If this reads low or zero, then no spark. I'm sure you made sure the kill switch is off.

hahaha yeah I made sure it was off. I will see what happens after I install this new wiring harness then go from there.

Not to beleaguer this point but many new stators have had bad pickups. It has turned out to be the culprit many times. If it was mine I'd test it. Rich

I agree just because it is new you can never assume that the parts are good.. sometime I have gone through 10 stators to find one that works right!

I assume you have cleaned all the ground connections too to make sure you have a good ground? just a thought, i always start with my ground connections for troubleshooting electrical problems and go from there.( former a6-e electrician)
