it has the stock air box, i am really thinking of running a hose to it and putting it under the seat , i also noticed the carb came loose from the carb so maybe it may be cured? any one have this problem?

i have a peace sports 50cc gy6 clone and it does not like the rain today while driving back from post office it started raining badly i avoided the puddles but it stalled at the light it would restart but not go over idle on the throttle without stalling when i finally pushed it home in the rain ruining my phone too! i sprayed some starter fluid in the intake and it decided to run ok is it possible it just sucked up some water in the intake or is it maybe that vent tube to the top of the carb sucked up some water. it doesn't seem to be electrical in nature. thinking of running some vacuum cleaner hose to a new location for the intake

think i would have tried a through the frame wiring route, a lot of people shy away from this but if you dont mind a slight bulge in the frame where it was cut into to route the wires it would make it a cleaner look( reinforce the frame where you have to cut into it to hide the wires) also i think i might have tried incorporating the the foot pegs for the passenger where you welded the tube stock. just a few thoughts, as for the hard tail if it is too stiff maybe you could lower it with a shorter but stiff shock!

i was thinking of going to a junkyard and obtaining a couple of those running lights from a newer car and cutting the old assemblies up and plastic welding the new reflector assembly onto the current lens, has anyone tried this radical mod? was definitely going to put a couple vent holes in too in case of heat build up. Do you mean to replace your stock headlight, assembly and all? There's a guy out there in cyberspace (not on this forum) who has a Kymco Agility onto which he vaccuformed an automobile projector beam light. It was very professional work, but prolly cost way too much. yes replace the whole thing however cant vaccu-form it
