do u think it looks bad even tho it works, the petcock does look good, everything was clean, i still have plenty of gas, i have to stop bike then wait then will start back up

Need more details. Sounds like a bad coil to me. They can work when cold and then quit when warmed up. That is a WAS (wild arse guess). Do you have spark when it quits?

well it stalls when riding, then after i pull over after a minute or so it will start right back up

I think that's your gas gauge sending unit. It's hooked up to your gas gauge and would not have anything to do with your bike stalling. JH has a good idea there. Considering the way that part looks your vent tube may be plugged and is causing a vacuum. Try loosening your gas cap and see if the bike still stalls. Rich

From that sending unit it looks like you are running ethanol...no a good idea in a scooter...

If that looks like that your carb will probably needs to be replaced or completely cleaned

i did try the gas cap thing with n w/o it and still did same thing, nope i am just using 87

Just replace the sender unit they are cheap.. what does the inside of the tank look like?

Adjust your valve gaps...sounds like the problem...pretty classic

it has rust in it, i put some clr in it and cleaned out some not all, yeah i have to find a place that carrys the sending unit

If it is 2 wire these guys have it... the green one is ground the other is the sender to the gauge

ty that looks like the sending unit, i would like to get a cap but dont no if that 1 would fit that i see on that page
