Good point gatekeeper, if she adjusted the carb when it was loose that would throw off the mixture on the rich side to compensate for the extra air being sucked in.

I just looked at your video and there is plenty of room to get your hand in between the Bar and the Carb and get at the Fuel Ratio Screw. With a Small Screw driver or anything small even a Nail Clipper that has the nail cleaner will do. Alleyoop

Good idea. It doesn't seem like a hard screw to turn either ( turns very easily ) I'm going to warm it up for 5 min, readjust that and the idle screw now then turn it off and cover it up for the night. These 5 block rides don't tell me too much but i have to drive 15 blocks in the morning to go to the gym and that's when it seems to give me the most s**t, so I'll test drive it in the morning and let ya know. Thanks. Guys!

The carb you referenced will work fine. I can even see the edge of the air screw in the second picture as you scroll down. If by ignition you mean the throttle cable, don't let it worry you. you've done tougher things than that already.
Before I got the new carb I would get a "shorty" screwdriver. I used a screwdriver bit, the kind that goes in the end of a screw gun and just held it in my fingers and adjusted the carb. Worth a shot before buying a new carb, even tough that is a good price.
Got to get ready for work but I'll check back later.

This is what a screwdriver bit is: You can buy a whole little set they are cheap and they come with the Driver. Alleyoop

Ya I meant throttle cable gatekeeper. Thanks guys. That last ebay link I posted the guy just got back to me and said that yes it has the a/f screw exposed. You are right though gatekeeper I could kinda see it in the pic too but wanted to confirm hehe Okay. I went out, it started up no problem. I let it warm up for 5 min. During the first minute I smelled gas and noticed visible, yet fine gas vapors rising out of the gas cap area. This lasted about 2 min. Once it hit about 5 min. of warming up, I used the head you guys are talking about ( I realized I could just pull it out of my screw driver and use it w/o the handle ) With the A/F ratio screw, I turned 1/4 turn counter clockwise, waited 15 seconds, no different, turned back 1/4 turn, waited 15 seconds, then turned 1/4 turn clockwise, waited 15 seconds, no different. I'm thinking crap, I may have a clogged jet. So I try again and try to listen closer, same thing no change. Then I turn 1/4 turn counter clockwise and nothing, i go further another turn 1/4 counter clockwise, no different, turn back a 1/4 and again back 1/4 to where I started and did the same thing in the clock wise direction (slowly up to a full half turn) and it was not sounding different. Maybe I had a jet starting to be clogged before and now it really is clogged? What do u make of my smelling gas and seeing a gas vapor? ( I was smelling it and seeing it as soon as I stated the scooter) Thanks

Does your scoot have a canistor with a couple of lines going to it One line will be coming from the GAS TANK and probably another line would be a VACUMM line probably connected to a "T" or a "Y" then to the MANIFOLD(the black curved one that your carb is connected to). You can also try Opening the Gas Cap and see if that helps. It sounds like there is gas in the VENT LINE FROM THE FUEL TANK. Did you happen to maybe overfill the Gas Tank. Alleyoop

Nope. I've been filling it to about an inch below the fill bar after worrying about over filling it Is the canister you are talking about this?

Yes, that is the one, there it may be either full of gas or maybe the VACUMM line is not connected. Check all the hose going to it and where they are connected. But you can try and crack open the Gas Cap a little to releive the pressure from the fumes. Alleyoop

Tubes from canister: Started w gas cap off but didn't seem fumes this time, could smell them a little but prob cuz the gas cap was off. This is what it sounds like: Should I try to remove and open the canister and see if there is gas in it?

I don't think the canistor can be opened. I really don't know since mine does not have any of the emission stuff on it. But what you could do is take the Vacumm line THAT GOES to the canister from the "T" and suck on it and see if something flows out. The hose on the bottom of the canistor is probably going to the Air FIlter and that would be where the gas and or fumes would go when the Diaphgram is opened by the Vacumm hose. Or you could take the hose that goes to the Air Filter from the Canistor and take it off and suck on the Vacumm hose and see if anything comes out. Alleyoop
