Well it sure sounds like for some reason it stops getting fuel or spark. Alleyoop

Ya. When I try to start it, it sounds like a very clean, up and at em' start but then shuts off right away. Like it turns over, connects well then dies ( for lack of a better way to explain it ) It sounds like its not the start that's the problem, but it being able to " hold an idle " I guess. I'm going to test out as much as I can tomorrow

Did you buy it used? If so probably the Petcock did not work and was open all the time allowing fuel to flow all the time. Take a picture of your petcock so I can see what you have. There are only two kind of Petcock as you can see in the Link I gave you, one fits into the tank itself the other the Hose from the Tank goes into the input of the petcock and one hose goes to the output to Fuel Filter then to the carb and the Middle one with the BENT nipple is your Vacumm hose. Where does that mount? and what kind of scoot is it. That is an antique looking thing. Can you take a picture of where it mounts. And where is it PLUGGED UP? Looks like one is the Vacumm and the other is where the Fuel Flows out.
Does it allow fuel to flow or does the fuel flow all the time? If it does not allow fuel to flow you probably can clean it out and clear it. Alleyoop

I haven't TRIED to start it in 24 hrs and it hasn't been actually running in 48 hrs. So the plan was to try to start it normally, if no go, kick start it and keep it running for 20 min to charge up the battery ( drive it a 3 block circumference around my place until it dies then start checking things after the problem happens) I went out to start it. Tried to start it normal. It started right away but I could see that it WANTED to die right away so I gave it a tiny bit of gas ( enough to idle higher but not so much that it would take off on me while I sat on it ) I did this for about 30 seconds and then it died. I tried to restart, the ignition sounds clean and happy but won't turn over. I then put it on center stand and tried to kick start it and nothing. I tried several times, I know how to kick start it but nothing. So now I can't even start it with a kick start So going by this information, what should I check and what CAN I checking knowing I can't warm the thing up or drive it until it dies to see what the problem is on the spot? So far the ONLY things I have done to this scoot in its 250 miles is 2 engine oil changes, 1 gear oil change, put a new spark plug in, adjusted the valves 2x, adjusted the A/F ratio screw 2x and adjusted the idle screw 2x I haven't checked any of the hoses yet since I was going to wait it to die before doing that and now I cant. What would u suggest I start with at this point and I'll go do it Thanks for your help guys.

Damn, well the first thing to check is to see if the Spark Plug is fireing. So If you have a Spare one pull the Boot Cap off the plug on the engine and stick the spare Plug in the boot and Ground it to the ENGINE. Then Crank it and see if it is Sparking. If it is then Put the Coil back on the Plug on the engine and take the VACUMM hose off the MANIFOLD(THE BLACK CURVED Connected to your motor and CARB) and Squirt some gas down the fitting put the hose back on and see if it will FIRE. If it does Then we know it is a FUEL DELIVERY problem. Turn the Fuel Ratio Screw 1 FULL TURN Counter Clockwise and see if anything happens. Alleyoop
