I have a JCL250A 2007 and can't get the seat to completely unlock. The key unlocks the side latch OK but the back latch remains locked. Any ideas?

You need to get access to the back side of the key lock. You'll probably have to take the body panels off on that side to do it. Once you get to the back side of the lock you can grab the cable end with a pair of pliers and pull while holding the outer part of the cable. Once you get the latch unlocked there should be an adjustment on it to take out some of the slack in the cable.
At least that is how I would do it on my Bali 250. Hope this helps.

yes, you can adjust the latch downward or look underneath the seat, you'll find 2 small round rubbers, this is use to build a snap effect (tension) between the latch and the seat, check,it might be worn out or got lost. basically if you have a well adjusted latch and a good rubber, if you turn the key you should hear a click and the seat disengages...good luck hope this helps...
