In the Video I noticed that YOU HAVE THE SHUT OFF VAVLE IN THE OFF POSITION. Gas will never flow alley

At :34 seconds into the video I turn the fuel on. I did it real quick so its easy to miss. So loosen and turn the carb to find that screw? Raford - thats a good point w/ emptying the carb that way and perhaps making it flow.

You do not need to turn the valve off all the time JUST when the scoot is going to be parked for hours at a time.
Yes, lossen the carb and get to the screw and see if gas comes out. Alley

Ahhhhh. Good to know. I was afraid it was going to fill the carb and flood it if I didn't turn it off when I turn the scooteroff.
Ill try doing that now. thanks.

I have a 10" screwdriver I use for the drain screw it makes it easy. Another thing for your list. I was looking at your video trying to see where your fuel line is going. I couldn't see but it is going into the side of the carb and not to the bottom of the bowl right?

Yes the fuel line goes into the side of the carb and ya it is a little high up on the carb. Ok I turned it and got to the drain screw. What a piece of s**t screw that is. It started to strip as soon as I put my screw driver in it. I started turning it little by little counter clockwise w the drain hose pointed to the ground and the more I turned it the more gas came out of the carb so yes there was some in the bowl. I didnt turn it all the way to let it all flow out but what came out was about a teaspoon maybe. I also tried turning the fuel on/off switch/valve too open with it slowly draining and it didnt seem to make the gas flow ( from what I could see in the clear fuel filter. Maybe If I opened it THEN opened the drain screw from a totally closed position it would put a little suction on the line? Should I drain the bowl all the way? What do u think I should try next? Thanks.

Sure try it and see if the gas keeps flowing out. Then you can close the screw back up and while your at it give the Fuel Ratio Screw one more turn Counter Clockwise. It definitely not getting any gas Since it will kick over and attempt to start ONLY when you squirt some gas right into the intake. It could also be the Pilot Jet and passage may be clogged even if it is new. You may have to take the damn thing off and take the bowl off and clean the Jets and Spary into the Pilot jet Hole and see if Spray comes out in front of the carb. Alley

Oh man cleaning it would suck. I tried to clean the old one (the one it came with) and It was such a disater. It took the paint off the driveway, ate through a plastic cup I was rinsing the parts in and when I was spraying it it, that corrosive fluid was going all over. I tossed it into a plastic bag swearing id never mess with carb cleaner again and that id rather just buy a new carb than clean one. LOL. Im guessing when you squirt gas into the intake manifold it drains down into the bowl? I have to re-register my scooter by Jan 27th so I have about a month before I decide if im doing that or tossing it off a cliff. LOL. Ill drain the bowl all the way.

I know the pilot jet was working on the old carb, you just couldn't get the main jet to come on.

LoL. No idea.
So w the fuel valve closed/off I turned the drain screw to drain what was in the carb bowl. I opened it up all the way and angled the carb back down to level and about 1/4 cup came out. When it was done emptying I turned the fuel valve open/on to see if the open drain would help pull some gas to the carb bowl and it did, gas came down the line and into the bowl I had it draining into. I then closed the drain hole but kept the fuel on/open so it SHOULD be draining down as it should. What next? Try to start it? LOL. Oh I also turned the a/f another turn counter clockwise as you suggested alley

No, when you squirt gas into the intake manifold it is going straight down into the motor NOT in the carb bowl. Raford3 has a point the old carb it would start and run so if you have to take this one off to check if it is clogged you can put the old one back on because it was running with it. And on the other one it was pretty much setup for the idle and Fuel Ratio so do not touch any settings on it UNLESS you already did(HAHA). Alley

I would rather sell it then ever take the damn carb out again. LoL. My last scooter I paid $1000 and sold it for $200 to a mechanic. This one I paid $950 for maybe I can get $300 for it from the same mechanic. Im just pretty much sick of it. I dont think I was meant to have a scooter. With the other carb on this scooter, it would start ( most of the time) and run but it wouldn't accelerate so either way both carbs in this scooter wont work.

After you try to start it again. Maybe after dark get the old carb and take out the pilot jet. If you're careful you can just take the air filter off and take it loose from the intake manifold and swap out the pilot jet. You may be able to get it without taking the throttle cable loose. Another thing for your list is starting fluid $2@walmart.
