It's critical that the housing doesn't leak or the carb won't open the main jet.

Better? Does that little rubber thingee need to be ON the metal thing to the left or can it just sit in there? So I fine tune it at the handle bars. Got it. OMG I am SUCH as a$$hole. I go outside to the scooter and my landlord is just getting back. The guy who wants to buy the property happens to be there ( i have met him before ) and he brought a friend who i wasnt really looking at. I was telling him ive had issues right from the start. Then I said well its CHINESE so it figures with a look of disgust on my face. INSTANTLY I thought damn the guy he brought who i wasnt looking at, with my luck will be Chinese. I glance over after a little bit and sure enough he is. OPEN MOUTH, INSERT FOOT, think before you speak Shannon!, or at least look around and do a nationality check. LOL! How long should I have the jet sit in the carb cleaner or should I start trying to look through it and perhaps stick a thin wire through it right now. The bowl cover looked a little " not so new " so I have that soaking too and will wipe it out.

Thanks Alley. Thanks Raford. Yes Mr. Air Leak Inspector. After all this is checked out / fixed I'll get back to working on a possible air leak if it still doesnt work or it stops working down the road.

That looks better, Yes the rubber part goes over the NUT actualy if you can get it over it if Not at least over the threads. Now make sure the nuts are TIGHT you do not want the Cable to rotate. Yea take the jet out and see if you can see daylight and blow in it or whatnot. The Pilot jets are so small only a thin guitar string will go through them if not just make sure you can see through it. Alley

I knew a dude who was in Vietnam and he could tell a Vietnamese from a Chinese or a Korean. He said the faces have different features.

Thanks guys. That rubber thing is a bitch to get on. I'm making sure the nuts are tight im glad i got an adjustable wrench instead of thinking the socket wrench set would do. As soon as I said " well its chinese " with the look of disgust the guy who wants to buy the property said, well so and so here may know about it. * hangs head w tail between legs * woops. so i guess he was chinese, he maybe have been 1/4 white or something else though. I cant tell japanese from chinese from any of the other. I just know I have no idea what they are saying and they both make some pretty good food

I was hitch hiking in Arizona and was crossing the Navajo reservation. I must of gotten 20 rides with indians who were curious why I was there. Navajos have round looking faces and look very friendly. I got a ride with an Apache and he had a much narrower face, not as happy or friendly looking.

Next time you see a homeless person playing a guitar on the side of the road give him a good tip and get the scraps he cuts off his strings.

Good to know Raford. They homeless here don't have guitars. Lots of them have dogs. Makes me sad. They should bring them to the shelter if they dont have a home for them. But anyway.... ya coulda been on the old carb.
I got the little rubber thing onto the end of the threaded thing by the throttle cable so thats good. I can see through the jet, tiny little bit of light cuz its such a little hole. You were right the bread wrapper wire wouldnt even go through it. I blew into it pretty hard a couple of times, dried it off and screwed it back in.
Im uploading a video that I have 2 questions with. But lets skip to after those 2 questions are answered...
when I put it all back together, I know I need gas into the bowl so I will turn the gas switch to on, maybe check with drain before I tighten it all the way to make sure the gas is going into the bowl, then tighten it all the way and prime gas into the front of the intake manifold. When I do this how much do you think I should squirt in the front? 1/2 syringe?

We have dudes playing sheet rock mud buckets in Richmond. I don't know how they get different tones from them but some are quite good at it.
