WOW! WOW! That could have been a complete disaster. I've heard of transmissions fragmenting but there was always a crunch and then freewheeling. I've wondered if they couldn't lock up the wheel and now we all know. You've got to get that ankle looked at. I've X-rayed many that looked just like that and about half had at least the fibula broken. Rich

the owner of the xray from bash would probably heal by it self if given enough time but the owner would be crippled for life too.

I thought it looked a little too swollen to be just sprained. I'd be cautious with a crack which is actually referred to as an incomplete fracture. Sometimes a minimal amount of pressure can complete the job. Can't you ride in the rally with the cast on? That's the beauty of scooters, you always have a place to rest your feet comfortably. Instead of looking like a weinie with a cast it can be your battle scar from the recent escapade. Rich
