Note: The whole article is based on "mo-peds", yet the chimp that wrote it persists on quoting a couple who as is stated in the same article as owning a 125cc "Motorcycle". What is the relivence of this? GREAT JOB REPORTING! Why not interview an out of state truck driver?

I can understand how you feel, that was my whole idea in getting a 50cc scooter. No anything required. I even talked to my State's D.O.T. and learned. The woman on the phone even asked; "Now don't tell me, you going to go buy a scooter now?" and we laughed and talked about the costs of fuel.

Just wait until they come up with the Crap Tax, and tax us according to the number of people living in a home for taking a Dump to help fund environmental concerns!

anything to make more revenue for the state during these terrible economic times. I hate myrtle beach anyway, way too commercial and too many kids. I prefer the outer banks of NC, being an NC native myself.

Write your state representatives and tell them if they vote for this bill, you vote them OUT!!


Also it might be a good idea to find out the bill # and send the information in it to your legislators no matter what state you live in and tell them if they support anything like this in your state you will vote for someone else come election time. TIME TO STAND UP FOR OUR SCOOTER RIGHTS.

Been trying to find out throuh the papers exactly WHO is doing the voting on this foolishness, but haven't got any responces as yet. I found an old story in the local paper saying any thought of going faster than 25mph on a scooter was "Moped Madness". And these machines are just rediculously unsafe for anyone.

I'll just sum that up with. I REALLY HATE THE LIBERAL PRESS! And their aparent desperation to regulate EVERY aspect of our lives!
