The wife and I watched a movie this afternoon that you absolutely have to get. It has two mega-stars, Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. It's a romantic comedy which I usually don't like but this one was especially funny. But the great part of the movie is that the crowd that Tom Hanks falls into all ride vintage scooters. There's many scenes of them riding their scooters through the center of town and many solo scenes with just Hanks and his scooter. We had a blast trying to identify the make of all the scooters and the engine size. It's really a well made movie packed with tons of scooters and I highly recommend it. It's not in the theaters anymore but we got it through Netflix. I'm sure you could get it at one of those red boxes also. Rich

Funny, I just watched Larry Crowne for the first time this week too. We checked it out from the public library. That beat Redbox's price by AT LEAST $1. LOL. Very good flick.

saw it when it came and really does a great job at promoting....scooters and the clubs/communities that support them.......not all were true classics, however,...a lot of genuine scooters in the mix....and the president/ceo of genuine served as a technical advisor to the film

Larry Crowne is kind of the opposite of jays spectacular journey! Where Larry Crowne promotes our scooters, Jay runs them down!

No, I was talking about the fool who was trying to make it to key west on a chinese scooter who beat the crap out of it then made all kinds of claims about how it was junk. His name is jay, jaden or some thing like that. I think he was running away from home, momie and daddys house, at the ripe old age of 33, a slacker who got others to front the bill for the trip, sponsors to buy the parts he lambashed and called the parts junk. Takes balls the size of a bucket to bash the free stuff some one donates to the cause. then to top it all he publicly thanks even the house cat who lives at where he spent 10 days for free while waiting for free parts. There's all kinds running around loose in this world.
