I would not go smaller than what you now have. Get another brand and go the same size or oneover if you can. I ride a Honda Reflex and will go one size over when the time comes to change, only so much tire on the road and more gotta feel better

What size are your tires? My scoot has the same in front as in back. 130/60R13, if memory serves.
You could also try getting your tires somewhere else to see if you can get the right size. I have always gotten my tires from Motorcycle-Superstore. The first replacement I had a motorcycle dealer install, but the second replacements I installed myself with some help from a friend.
Original tires were Duro. Not too bad. First replacement rear tire was a Michelin Pilot City. Nice tire, but wore too quickly. Current Tires, front and rear are Kenda K413. Acceptable ride quality, but I don't know about durability, yet.

I had a new pirrelli put on my Magnum 300 and I have to say it was a very strong walled tire. I think if I were to have a blow out the tire would still bring me in... If I canget the right size that is what I will put on my Honda before my 1,100 mile trip.

I'd also just put a 130/70-13 on the front. You should have plenty of fender clearance. You'll probably like the added stability of the larger contact patch up front, but your turn in will be slightly slower.
I don't think you'd wobble so much as a smaller tire would throw off the geometry of the bike, so you would probably turn in quicker and lose mid corner stability instead of develop a true wobble, which is (technically) a straight like wiggle to the handlebars.

I'm partial to the Michelin Bopper tire for my scoots. Good traction, smooth running, quiet.

Matt Matt What tire did you use? I'm looking for a 130/70-13 for my trike. Thanks Gerry
