Is there a how to or can anyone suggest on where to begin. I would like to see mine dome down about an inch or two.

scooterelements was telling me that in PR, they make it a hard tail by removing the springs in the back, and then they move the front forks up into the dash. i wouldnt recommend, but what would be cool is an airshock or air bag in the back, have not seen that yet on a scoot. im sure somebody has done that though.

yea i wouldnt recommend it but thats what some people do here. Or you can use this to lower your scooter a little

yea i wouldnt recommend it but thats what some people do here. Or you can use this to lower your scooter a little

Yup! We are going to have those in stock in about 2 months. We are waiting on our container that left taiwan last week to arrive here but that will take a while having to cross the pacific ocean, go through the panama canal and then make it here so yea it will take time.

Where I live a hard tail will knock your teeth out.

We made a few different lowering shackles for the shocks. They lower the rear 3-3 1/2 inches. I will post pics when I get to the pc.

Both lower the scooter about 3-3 1/2 inches

here is one of my scooters that is lowered. I used the shackles in the 1st pic and moved the front shocks up about 1 1/2 inches.

I love the look!! But how do you move the front shocks up?

That can be a little more dangerous because moving up the bottles will cause them to hit your glove storage area and keep you from turning. What you will have to do is end up cutting out the area inside the glove box when you go to raise them.

Not only the geometry but how do you lean and turn? And driveways, to say nothing about a slightly rough road. crotch rockets are among the tallest bikes out there so they can lean and turn. I have seen some of the lowered scooters and I doubt if they could be ridden much over 20 on a smooth but curvy 45mph road. john

one advantage though...no need to put the kick stand down, it could only lean a little.

i have no issues with the way its lowered..nothing hits and it does not affect the way it handles. I have take all my scooters on 100+ mile rides.

If you dont go crazy you have plenty of room to lower the front. The only other alternitive is to cut the springs inside the shock. I will mess with that soon to see if it makes for a bad ride. ;D

Ok, I understand how it work now. Thanks for the information and the pics. I am going to have to build up some nerve to try it but I may do it soon.
