This is kind of a test, have never posted video before. scooter is all full of mud too but just trying to give idea of sound of the briggs muffler idling.

Sounds pretty good out does not have that deep sound which is accurate with the vintage style scoots. Thumbs up.

Thanks rich. I had 2 miles on the chino meter 3 years ago when I put the briggs muffler on it. I have heard some had burned valves with them. I do not run WOT if I can help it, only 3 miles of 55 mph speed limit to town, and last time I set valves I checked compression before and after and still have 150. As alley did with his I believe the best muffler is a super trap and I would have gone that route except for the price of one.

bc, I suggest you take a course in vintage scooters, none I have seen and heard sound any where close to this with the exception of a cushman and a mustang is not a scooter. I also like your gas pedal call on the fellows Elite 150 thread: (feb 18 reply 11)

yeah i dont know what the hell i was thinking when i posted that lol some how while drinking alot of beer and seeing that pic ( from my cell phone ) i posted what i wanted to think i seen instead of realizing it was a brake pedal. also i just listened to the video from my desktop ( and not from my phone ) and i can hear a snit load of deep tone, holy cow! that sounds louder and deeper then my stainless steel muffler. most of my time i spend on this site is from my cell phone because im always on the go and when im home my woman or kids are on the computer lol. from my phone the briggs motor sounded like a light putting and i was agreeing that the light sounding putt sounds like the vintage ones. i guess i cant drink and post. if the e-police catch me i will get a posting under the influence, that wouldnt be good on my record
