www.wday.com/event/article/id/59475/group/homepage/Love this line: A gas official who says the demand for gas is down 4% nationally partly because more people are choosing alternative ways to travel, which could be adding to the rise in prices.Talk about damned if you do, damned if you don't. I'll save money for me by riding, Thank You. “We are going to see a lot of people pulling stuff out of the weeds and things like that just to save a buck where they can.”Yeah, like old CM 250 Hondas and '81 Yamaha 250 Exciters. My car is going to do a lot of sitting this summer.

I actually expect to hear there is another gasoline shortage, which is going to be blamed for the raise in pump prices and it's going ot be due to what is going on in Iran, even though we, the USA get no crude from iran! It's all politically and oil industry driven! No shortages. No reason for increase except the greed of the oil companies and the greed of our members of congress and the current administration!

Great links guys, thanks. Like I said, we get hosed and they keep sucking us dry. How long do the big corps think they can keep this up? Their greed is astounding. Rich

$3.69 when I tanked up the other day and going to go higher. I don't think its the politicians, rather the speculators - ban them!

Undoubtedly a combination of both. I really don't think the Obama adminstration has been in office long enough to do much to gas prices. If you want to assign some blame you can look to the two Bush's who were personally heavily invested in oil. Then there's Cheney, he was an oil mogul and did everything he could to steer the country towards oil consumption. Now his heart is about to pop and you wonder if he looks back and thinks it was all for naught. Rich
