what can i say? yesterday was a terrible day for me really not making excuses but sometime u do
1st. that time { wink-wink ya know what i mean }
2nd. piggers cant pee, so im TOTALLY freaked by that { my poor lil boy} he's on meds, but hasnt pee'd yet and i cant even ask my child whats wrong / hurts
3rd. my ongoing legal probs.
4th. the easy fix didnt work
5th u guys usually talk WAY over my head & i get so confused and frustrated. {im trying to understand & learn} BUT u guys rattle off facts, this , that AND I didnt even know what settings to use on the damn VOM.
6th my learning disabilities. { yes i am mentally challenged} If someone shows me something, you usually {99.1%} NEVER have to show me it again, BUT words on a page and 1 MILLION wires just,, wow to much. as i said i do have certain mental probs, but i can overcome them and have in the past. GEE i have a M.B.A., i have taken loser restaurants, and have turned them around and made then into multi-million $ stores. i have even turned a few into 3 star rests. and 1 into a 4 star Someone PM'ed me and re-told me about men & women , how men are wired for some things & women others. this is one thing im not wired for ;D
7th but a lil of 5 &6. this stuff is 2nd hand to u, so u guys talk like i know ur talking about--I DONT ;D like i said-IF ( and i know this isnt going to happen) but if one person could come here and show me--hell i'd be giving TECH advice to others in a few weeks.
i will ask a favor of anyone reading this. please go to scooter professor JR posted a thread. and he wrote it so a dumb arse {me} can understand it. please look it over and see if u would change anything. BUT please dont add a ton of stuff, thats one of the bad things on these forums, 15 diff people say 15 diff things {almost the same but not} and us WOMEN get so confused esp with the above mentioned probs
THANKS EVERYONE
the PIGGERS boy bear cat

I hope you're little guy gets better. We've been there, its not fun. We have a "gold plated" male cat who got a type of urinary tract infection that caused uric acid crystals to form. He ended up on all sorts of antibiotics and stayed at the Vet overnight with a catheter. It was apparently "stress induced".... spoiled little bugger. After all that, we had to feed him a prescription cat food (Purina UR). It got expensive, especially since his sister ended up eating, too. So, after a few years we started to give him Purina One Urinary Tract Formula. Still not cheap, but much better than the UR. 5 years later, he's still going strong. We've only one scare since, but got him right to the vet and caught it before it got worse. This is Loki. He thinks he's hiding.

Sounds about right for the cost. I think the biggest bag we'd get was the 8lb for about $20. Its been awhile, so I don't really remember.
Initially, we tried to feed them separately in different rooms, then take away the food when they were done. However, every now and then we'd leave a door open and they'd sneak by and eat each other's food. They always wanted what the other one was eating.
Thankfully, I think he's mellowed out a bit with age. So, that helps since his condition was stressed induced.

i used to have a cat named pugsley, he was stolen. had the most beautiful dark almond fur with black stripes. he was a main coon cat, from what my grandmother says, they are kind of rare. his fur was puffy but sleek, and he had a very bushy tail. i remember being about 13 years old and that darn cat followed me into the shower one time and idk he was thinking or what part of the shower he liked but he would just sit in there, it kind of creeped me out but then again it was amazing to see a cat not care to get wet. i never got any more pets because im allergic to animal pet hair and dander. ive tried to keep animals well groomed and i still break out in hives or athsma attacks. ohwell...

There is a legend that the Maine Coon cat was descended from Anne Boleyn's cats. Her maids brought them over from the U.K. when she was plotting to escape. It is rumored that the house she was supposed to slip away to (if she got out of England) is actually just outside of town. I have no idea of the veracity of that though.

a very interesting tid bit of history id say, never knew that story about the cats. my grandmother had about 9 of them and gave me one but i guess somebody knew their stuff about cats and one day when he went on his daily walk he never returned. it was his ritual to go on a trot once a day around 3-5pm he would sleep or do whatever indoors all day but 3-5 pm rolled around and he would sit next to the door waiting untill somebody let him out, then he would return about 20-30 mins later sometimes with mice, he was skilled at catching them although the birds always bested him, his whiskers would stand on end and he would make the funniest chatter/chirping sounds when he seen birds. still miss his silly being.

Yeah, pets sure can grow on you, we had a bird that changed one of my basic concepts. My wife wanted a pet bird years ago so we bought Binky, a Cockatiel. That little guy showed emotions and intelligence that were just hard to believe. We went away for a one week trip once and left him with a friend because we flew. When I got back he screamed in excitement when he saw me, flew over, landed on my chest, and kept giving my face a hug with his wings. I kid you not, you would have had to see it, I get all yaclempt. If you tried to hide one of his toys under something forget it. He would march over to it and pull whatever was on it off with a screech and then give you a dirty look. The wife and I would often talk about what we would spend if he got sick, which he did, and could never come up with an upper limit. It just seemed pointless compared to the little guy's life. Having grown up on a farm I never really thought much about killing animals and using them for food. But now I think that if Binky could think and feel love on that level maybe a lot more animals do too. I hear about people going on dove hunts down here and shudder every time it's brought up. What if the doves are feeling abject terror as they're blasted out of the sky? It's made me rethink my view of the world.
Don't worry Terrilee, we have dumbasses around here that can walk you through your repairs, heck, I'll volunteer. Rich

JUST A QUICKIE
i love my kids so much...... that if given the chance i would lose limbs to give them health i would trade my life for them especially the 3 oldest, but now that Fred & Larry have been here longer & longer i would for them to.
i can never show anyone the ways my kids show me love, they are scared of strangers, so they wont come out from . w/e they r hiding.
but, i can categorically say, the times that i have been at my lowest, crying etc, you can see it effects them, they come snuggle, try to get me to play, ANYTHING MOM, JUST STOP CRYING, PLEASE
anyone who can take a baby animal, raise it as their own, love it etc and NOT say that it returns love-----is lying
