If you scroll down the main site page you'll see the first board in the Library is manuals. Under Non-Chinese you'll find the Kymco manuals that we have. Hopefully you'll find your bike there or one similar enough for the manual to work. Rich

thanks for the help all..............i believe the closest i have seen to the 300 dt..here is the super dink 250......not exactly sure it is the exact same power plant...as my 300 dt........i would imagine the gt300i is very similar if not same......but i am really looking for the actual shop manual for what i have....thanks again...

No no no, we do not operate that way, if you know the information to help soomeone is somewhere else by all means. The idea here is to help the troops out anyway you can. Alleyoop

Right on Alley, this isn't some stupid competition over a manual. I would like to think we're all adults here. I'm glad the guy got what he needed and everybody is happy. I found that manual in my PDF folder so I'll get it on the server over the weekend if anybody needs it in the future, just been kinda busy at work today. Rich

basham and alley...appreciate...your support on this......and your correct approach.....i got exactly what i was looking for.....there are many multi-forum members on this blog.....i know as i encounter them on a daily basis......information should not be handled as a "zero sum game"all sources of knowledge and info should be embraced io an open learning environment.....thanks again....robo...

This is very interesting. If all this information is supposed to be an open learning enviorment , which would be fine , then why isn't this forum totally open ? Why are the help sections closed only to members of this forum ? Other learning enviorment forms are not closed. Also what is confusing to me is, why is this even discussed ? If you are a member of " Scooter Professor " , everyone knows that he has a lot of manuals. So why don't you ask there. Lastly , I don't see anything competetive about giving credit where credit is due . If we are going to act like adults as mentioned, then the adult thing to do , IMO , is just say " THANKS " to the Scooter Professor . I know he has spent a lot of money and time to get all the information that he could collect to share with all scooter owners . Speaking for myself , I use this information a lot and appreciate JR'S efforts to the utmost. So saying thanks is the least one could do .

Other learning enviorment forms are not closed. I feel that if folks want to come in and use the information on this forum they should also be members that contribute and interact. The only way they're going to do that is sign up, I don't think that's too much to ask. Other forum owners can run their sites as they see fit. I am under no obligation to run mine in a similar manner. By the way, the last time I looked, JR's tech area is also closed. Are you going to post your opinions on his site too?I would have but I didn't post the manual on this site. What am I supposed to give credit for, the fact that somebody has a manual on another site? Think about what you're saying. Most of the tutorials that you see on this site are my originals, from scratch, including all of the ones by Scooter Doc. I'm not looking for a big pat on the back or any thanks, I did it because it interests me and I hope it helps somebody. So if you used any info off of this site....YOU'RE WELCOME! Rich

close all the tech manuals to everyone but members.?? i agree how hard is it to become a member--it's freeim a member of many forums WHY?
so i can pick the brains of MORE people do i contribute to each forum? well that depends on what u consider contributing . small easy things , sure i help total noobs, in the easy stuff, i try to add humor in exchange for any knowledge i gain.
actually the forum admin on ALL the sites know im dumb & dont contribute much, except for humor or try to get discussions going on ANY topic. not just scooters im not sure, but i think , most people on the ALL the sites appreciate my 'contributions' of course some think i just rattle on--and i do. But WTH life is full of things, not just tech scooter subjects
