daddue11- love the look of this trike. Is setting and keeping the front wheel alignment set a problem? I've read a lot of the comments on the can-am clones and people were saying that alignment was a real problem. Thanks in advance, and lots of safe miles to you! -Mike I've ridden my 150cc about 3000mi. I'm pretty sure it's set up similar to the 300cc model. I aligned mine (with me on it) when I first got it and haven't had to re-adjust it yet. Perhaps if the springs start to sag a little, it'll need to be re-adjusted.....

Maybe the can-am clones are simply set up different. thanks for the insight.

hey Daddue, How's the roadrunner? I have been researching this for months but can't find any one to give great details. I am ready to buy one this week with the right report!

Hello friends,I now have around 235km on the road Roadrunner and a couple of bugs are starting to make their way out in the open and here is the ones that I've found so far. Front fenders come from the factory or shop either one with sharp straight metal mounting brackets meeting curved plastic fenders with no rubber gromets or any kind of buffering to prevent chipping, rattles or scarring,so,I took the fenders off and made some rubber pads and cut holes to match the mounting brackets and remounted the fenders,RESULTS,no rattles or squeaks even on bumpy dirt roads and no more pressure under the fenders. I've also noticed that if I'd goose the throttle and let off suddenly that I would feel the rear do a slight fishtail,I've checked the presure in the rear tire and it is spot on,I've put it up on the stand to see if the axle nut or anything was loose back there and nothing.Well,Yesterday I took it out for a 28 mile trip and it wasn't doing it anymore even if I tried to make it,The only thing that I could think of was that when it was doing this I was riding in a stiff side wind and when I'd let off the throttle suddenly then the wind would try to push the bike or the light rear end the other way.(dunno for sure). Thats about where she stands right now ladies and gents,I still love that crisp throttle she has even though I don't get to use it yet, and the fron't alighnment has held up beautifully without any quirks and I'm still deeply in love with my LIBERTY. OH yeah, the handling?? Piece of cake now. daddue11 Steve

Hello friends,The wife and I went for a ride this evening between 35-40 mi.,It was a very chilly but extremely fun ride, saw alot of deer and went on some dirt roads that we had never been on before. The Roadrunner did excellent with no front end probs and most of all no fishtailing from the rear at all. I finally filled her up with gas for the first time, now I can really check the mpg. My Liberty handled beautifully and I drove her for several miles at 65+ at about half throttle just to see if she'd shake or wobble or be hard to handle in any way and I was so proud of the crisp lane changing and passing abillity she showed,we even went through some shin high mud at the bottom of a dirt road dip and she pulled without even spinning even though she couldn't just idle through it.But,to tell you the truth I am mostly proud of how my wifes little Tank ran and handled on the dirt roads and after changing spark plug and putting in fresh gas(the previous owner always mixed 2stroke oil in every tankful) the power was like a totally new bike.I think I made a good choice by buying it for her. Well, that's all I have to report untill later.....P.S. I really think that the fishtailing from before was just the lashing from a vicious crosswind that we kept encountering that day. no probs this ride. daddue11.

The wife and I took the same ride tonight and had the most awsome time, The more I get to ride my 300 the more I realize how awsome this bike is,I can't say enough about the handleing on this thing once you get used to it there's no comparison to it,especially on the cornering,it is so sweet and the lights are better than any bike I've ridden hands down. Now,I can't wait till I get my GPS handlebar mount for my Magellan meridian gold so I can tell EXACTLY how fast I'm going without taping my handy conversion chart to the dash. I love the all digital dash,BUT,everything is in metric Bleck!!! And this might sound wimpy or washy but my wife and I were already very close but riding our scoots together has made us even closer and it has given us an appreciasion of each other...I'd recomend it to any couple. Hell I even think going on a ride with a person that you don't like might help you see each other in a different light. JMO daddue11 Steve.

There really wasn't really much bugs per say,I think most of it was I just had to get used to the bike and even getting used to riding again,A few tweaks here and there and now I wouldn't trade it for anything. Now I've just got to grow some Cahonies and start riding it to work on the BIG highways. I've almost overcome my fears of the other vehicles now. I've had several severe accidents due to other drivers supposedly not seeing me :-/and one tree falling on me (that's another story),so I sold my Silverwing and hadn't ridden for ten years until lately. I am like you said though, having fun, fun, fun ;D ;D ;D daddue11 Steve

I know when I started to scoot the fear is there but as you ride more and more you will overcome the fear with experience, but as you ride its good to hang on to a little of that fear that keeps us in check, If I was ever to buy a trike, yours would be the one I'd buy. How does that handle different then two wheels, is it something you have to get use too Ride safe my friend

I have to recommend Fenton Powersports. They did everything for me, ordered it, changed the oil, balanced and they have experience with the companies engine.

Hello all, and particularly daddue11.
I've got a question (or 3) for you on this and (to the group) the 150cc trike. The listings for both of these trikes indicate a top speed (depending on weight and conditions) of 55 mph. I've been looking at the 150cc trike and wondering if anyone has experience with speed and handling when two people are on it. Both certainly have room for two, but will they really struggle on inclines to maintain 55 mph? (Together my better half and I would weigh around 300 lbs.)
My interest in this bike is partially for gas saving commuting (I can avoid most highways if necessary) but also for periodic trips to see the parental units, which involves a very expensive (if you bring a car) ferry boat ride. With a "motorcycle" the round trip cost is nearly $100 less, but there's a 45 minute trip to and from the ferry both ways, some of which might have to be on higher speed roads. (Fortunately mostly flat terrain however.)
Is this trike up to that sort of trip?
Oh, and are there any dealers in the New England area? I've not found any listings online.
