Lee Did you change tire size and if yes what size did you go to? Any problems hitting anything and how much more in MPH? I would like to know about the gears like the 150cc do, have you heard anything about that? Let me know what you find out about the coil. I have vibration coming from the trunk and rear wheel deck am going to try the undercoat and see what it does, other wise they have a Dyna Mat that they use for car steraos that take care of vibration in the trunk of cars when they have big speakers. The whole quarter panels shake but this stuff works great. My tires seem fine no balance problem just the trunk, deck and the mirror. It's the mirror rod that mounts to the handlebar not the mirror itself. Something in the front dash also but I will get it. Just don't want to pull it apart untill I get the new parts from Icebear due to shipping damage, only want to do it once. I think you are the one who put the dual exhaust on did you every hook it up? How did you make the pipe and what muffler did you use? Man can you post a few pictures from under the bike? I also like your lights. Thanks

I looked at the picture on ICE BEARS site and they look like BUTTONS that snap onto the screws that hold the Windshield to make it look pretty. Try snapping one onto the windshield holddown screws or bolt. Alleyoop

When you take the rear deck off you will see were it goes, you looked at mine really good, it will come back to you. Look them up on the web and you will seee the difference in size, in speed it is not much, smoother and softer ride by fare. Speed...nothing fast at all on these little trikes, 2-3mph is all

Mike right now only 60 mph with just myself. Don't know how long to break in and if I will get anymore. I think I could have gotton more out of a built 150!! At least the performance parts are cheaper for the 150. Not much in parts for 300cc. I am thinking maybe a RPM limiter might be on this bike I will have to watch RPM on WOT. Can anyone show me where the fuel mixture screw is on the carb? I took it off but got a little confused as to what plug it was. Still have idle changing to much when first starting (low) when it warms up it seems better. What would it do if the carb diafram was bad? Also no brake light when using only front, bad switch. I will do the spray test for vac leak during the week. Mike I want to cut that hatch but I have a BIG bump under the seat will not be able to cut a flat panel, do you have that? Can you post a picture? John

Well 60 is not bad... I have trouble with the picture thing. There is only one cap plug on the bottom of the carb, unless your is sealed. If you have one it is on the bottom toward the intake. Just take pliers and pop it off and you will see the mixture screw. I am going riding Monday to springhill, can't find you number but if you home I can swing by give ya some pointers. will carry a few tools so cna help ya set the mixture and show ya how to set the valves it is fast and easy and makes a big performance difference. Yes my seat has the hump, Ican show ya how if you have a drimmal it takes only minutes

Yep the fuel ratio mixture is underneath the carb where it attachs the Intake Manifold. Clockwise Leans it Counter clockwise richens it. Alleyoop

Mike have to go to doctor but we can make it another time if your up this way again. I would have liked that but you know how it goes with the doctors. You got something to do up here if not could you come tuesday? I can figure out the carb screw thing and I have seen a post on the valve settings, don't look to hard. I didn't think it was time to do that but you are the master blaster when it comes to the 300!! I don't have a dremmal with a cut off wheel. Alley what size carb is on the 300? What would happen if the rubber diaphragm is bad is there a way to check it? Jim thank you for your reply John

John it takes a 30mm carb and is the one in the top picture Al posted. You can pull the Diaphragma visual check for tears and holes. I did all that but found that it was at the cheap rubber maniufold and the intake not tight on the rear of the carb from filter box. If you over tight the carb on the manifold you can cut right thru as it is just rubber. When mine had only about 400 miles on it the exhaust valve was very tight. You do not hace to take anything off to get to the valve covers it is fast and easy. If I were you I would first set the carb and idle and run it and see how it runs and check the plug. Learn the scoot befor you try to change everything, at least the basics

If you get a tear or a problem with the Diaphgram you will loose your throttle from about 3/4 to full throttle. Reason is, that is what LIFTS the NEEDLE out of the MAIN JET for Top End.
And like MIKE said 60mph is not bad but you should be able to cruise around 60-65. They do weigh quite a bit plus your weight that motor is pulling quite a bit. If you get the bigger tires you should pick up a couple more mph and you will notice it at cruiseing speed. Once you get it up to speed you can back off the throttle a little bring down your RPMS and it will hold that speed. Alleyoop

Alright guys will do what you said. The idle is still changing an I see it more after the first start. I am thinking electric choke maybe. I have juice going to it but I don't know how else to check it. John
