Help, the wiring isn't right on new engine, please help, the company monster scooter won't let me return it cuz it's in the green section, no tech support. The picture is from their engine. Attachments:

Now that is odd that the new engine has a male stator plug. Someone sure messed up.
Actually it is an easy fix.
Take your old plug off and replace the new plug with it.

I know I messed up, but the pictures they had for the scooter & the parts didn't show that item. Enduring else but that. Also, look closer my photo. It spent have just a stator plug, there are 2 other wires there

Switch the stator from the old engine to the new engine.. then the regulator will match..it is common problen with replacement engines many are wired for DC systems, certain the current crop of coke can engines on EBAY is like that...you will sond all summeur trying to get the electrical system working...

Sean PM'd me and said he has three yellow wires coming off of the stator. I would think this means he has a three phase 11 coil stator. I think Sprocket's idea of swapping the old stator is the best idea. I think he got the engine from Monster Scooter Parts. These are the people that also sell mobility scooters and I don't think they know what the hell they're talking about. Rich

Ok, engine is in, hooked up, ruining, butt making strange noise/vibration, I still an going to change oil, & gear oil, anything else?

Adjust the valves...they can be very tight on brand new engines... .004 inches intake/top valve, .005 inch bottom/exhaust
Do you have an exhaust attached?

Ok, the noise isn't coming from front but from rear, by the transmission.

Not that but, it was the stator, meaning, the sensor for the spark timing was just touching, so making a noise, all good now, back together & running.
