well the faster you make it the faster it will fail . roller/sliders weights will play with the power band . Some like air intakes and performance mufflers to make it sound faster .

There is no replacemment for displacement... but by the time kick it up to 182cc, it may be cheaper to buy a 250 cc
You won't be able to ride at 60 mph...all the time, the engines are not designed for that...
Save your our money and buy a motorcycle...

a 250cc engine will cost about $900-1000. Upgrading the existing 150 to about 180cc will cost about $600. The advantage to the 250 is its water cooled and will run at the higher speeds with no issues. I have a 61mm BBK(170cc I believe) and can get to 55mph WOT, I get there pretty quick tho (which means final drive gearing can be switched out to achieve 60 comfortably) but again, the temperatures are up there compared to normal and that will cause issues in the long run.

of course remembering that the gy6 engine has the same crank and case that it was designed for and what was that? a 110cc motor? If it was a 150cc design then going to 180cc would not be quite so radical but it is still a little engine that is already built up with a 150cc cyl. no gy6 engine will ever be happy running at wide open throttle for very long.

Where do you get your parts? Upgrading to 180cc is about $300.
