For anyone in Louisiana in wanting to come here, we ride every Sunday and have the best rally in the south, the Big Easy Weekender! This year was a blast! Contact me for Sunday rides and directions. Next year, we are the sponsor city for Amerivespa!! -Rich

Looks like a lot of fun Big Guy. How hard is it to set up a rally? I'd like to set one up for a covered bridge ride in the county across the river. In the fall , when the leaves have turned into their beautiful colors. It would be at least a 5-6 hr ride.

After Hurricane Katrina, our local club was all but disbanded, but four years ago, we set up a Yahoo email discussion group for the local area. We started organizing a Sunday meet up and ride and went from there. At first, there might have been only two or three people show up but we still made the most of it and had fun. The first BEW, three years ago only had maybe 20 people in it, but this year? Somewhere between 3-400! Planning for an event is not as easy as a ride though and takes pretty much the entire year to get things right. -Rich

Hi you are, I'm in between Thibodaux, & Raceland , south of you. I ride when I'm in, work off a liftboat in lakes & bayous. At present in lake Salvador, I can see the city bridges. Where do you all meet, and about what time? I'm simi familiar with New Orleans, have not been there the last few years. Used to enjoy going to the French quarter, & eat benyeas. There are a few Riders in Thibodaux, & Houma, just have not met any yet! I have a Jonway YY250T-A 2012.
