This is the video that I watched and decided to give it a try. Home Depot sells spray cans of plasti dip for like 6 bucks each. I used 4 for the bike.
This one as well.

well just make sure you have strong brake lights and stick a couple reflectors on the sides. or better yet, wire a couple 13 inch LED strips underneath.
just wanna make U visible to the cagers

I don't get the point, spray it on and peal it off? If I spray a bike scooter or car a different color I would be p*ssed off big time if me or the neighbor kid could peel it right off. Watching the video all it took was a thumb rub to get it coming up! And how about going thru an auto car wash?

jct842- I get your point. However, the more coats that you apply, the tougher it is. I wanted the matte look, but didn't want to pay and arm and a leg. And if you could have seen what the paint looked like prior to this, I'm sure you would agree. If you rub the center of a panel that I painted, it will not peel. However, if you go to a corner and try to start the peel, then eventually, it will start to come off, which is what I wanted to begin with anyway, a cheap way to change the look to my scoot. I also had the same feelings you had before I dipped the bike, so I also found this video. It just covers some of the questions that I had before trying it out.

I wonder about the extra weight as compared to regular paint.
I was able to get a nice finish on my Helix with Duplicolor Perfect Match spray paint, a few coats of clear gloss laquer, wet sanding with 1000 grit, polishing compound, and some wax. That is many more steps, but is close to a factory finish.

I think I might change the color of my scoot from black to matte white. Been driving home from work this week, not feeling safe with the bike being black. White comes out pretty nice too.
