Hey gang. I asked earlier about the Motorino Cassini 150. But I just love the classic look of the Amorie. I'm buying one of the two but just can't make up my mind, help me out ! Thanks !

I have the Joker clone on the bottom, but mine is called Verona. Its made by Znen too, which is a good chinese company. I am with you about the styling.

The Cassini has 16" wheels which, if anything like my Pegasus, makes for a very stable and fast scooter. It is a little tippy until you get rolling though. The Amore', which I just sold recently, had 10" wheels which made it a little....um....tippy until you got rolling, and it was no crotch rocket. Don't get me wrong, the Amore' was a wonderful scooter, but a guy wanted it for his wife and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Plus the wide seat wasn't all that comfortable. Having experienced both of the scooters in question I'd have to go with the Cassini. The looks of the Amore' can only carry it so far.

Form over function has kicked me before and the 16" wheels just seem to make for a smoother , quicker scoot. But just like a pretty woman the Amorie turned my head ! I also looked at the lance Cali , another looker but in all honesty couldn't find enough difference to justify the up charge. Thanks again.

What I like is the head light/gauges/bare handle bar on the lower one along with what looks to be more under seat storage. Also working on the lower one should be easier as well as parts. The 16 wheel model has some odd ball parts as the case has to be longer for the wheel, some say it has a tad more power but if you read back about those who had a broken one and getting the right parts. Last I checked tires cost a whole lot more and not as many to choose from. The upper one is a real good looking scooter though.

Buy the Cassini. I've kicked myself numerous times for buying a small wheeled scooter. People who have bought the big wheeled scoots report much higher top speeds and better handling. After the new wears off you'll be much happier with something you can use in more ways.

Thanks all.
This brings up another question . How is the parts avail on the gy6-B ? All my experience is working on the CN250 clones and those parts are everywhere.
A quick search suggests that the "B" series parts are hard to find.

Thanks all for your input on this thread and the gy6-3 thread.
I have decided on the Cassini for a few reasons. Local dist who answers both his phone and questions, the larger wheels and most important "Cassini" rhymes with my last name........good reason huh.
I already have a "speed challenged" scoot and wanted the next to be able to take on exit or two on the highway need be. Not even a thought of that on the trike.
Thanks again

Good choice. I have a Chuanal Protege 150 with 16" wheels and love it. I don't recomend taking it on the interstate but had to once when the only other alternate route was closed for maintenence and I servived. Top speed is about 60 (depending on conditions) but as I was coming back from camping in the mountains it was mostly down hill and there were stretches where I was hitting 65. It wasn't enjoyable with all those big rigs, but manageable still. It's just good to know it's there if nessecary.
