Ya alley when I get a day to ride 1069 miles round trip. Sure thang. I'm sure that out of all the members on this board & 3 others. That someone has bought a kit to install or preinstalled scooter.
Thanks Dave

Thanks Dave In all honestly Dave, I haven't seen anyone here that has done a trike conversion on their scoot. Most of the 'trikers' here have bought theirs as is. I got a trike cause I'm physically challenged. Alley got his cause he's stability challenged. And there aren't any, that I can think of at the moment, that did a trike conversion. Everyone here likes their scoots as is. I have seen, on CL and Ebay some scooter Tow Pac type conversions, but that's about all. I, too, am toying with the idea of getting a 150 or 250 scoot and trike it out. For some reason I like the Ruckus/Ruckus clone as a trike. Let us know how your 1069 mile trip turns out!! (LOL) Dave

Yep, I have not seen or heard of anyone on the popular scoot forms that has bought and or installed one of those. But I will tell you this those axles are the same axles that come with the 50cc trikes from ICE BEAR. The axles for the 150s are the same EXCEPT the ICE BEAR axles have 4 mounting brackets while the 50cc trikes only have 2 mounting brackets. Those axles are what I have on my 150 Ice Bear trike. Alleyoop 150cc TRIKE AXLE FOUR MOUNTING BRACKETS: 50cc TRIKE AXLE: THE INTERNALS ARE THE SAME AS THE 150s AXLE THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE 50ccs ONLY HAVE TWO MOUNTING BRACKETS:

On the towpac conversions I wonder if they don't create some legal problems as there are 4 wheels on the ground. Training wheels. Technically a person with only a drivers lisence for a car should be able to "drive" one. To be a "trike" one would have to remove the front wheel and do a wheely from here to there. I shouldn't make fun of a towpac as one day to ride I will need one or the other. john

Thanks Dave, I sure can empathise with you & alley. Cause I'm physically challenged too...My mind keeps telling my body NO, but my body is Urgently & incessantly says YES!!! If only I could find a Women like that...The Urgently & incessantly says YES part. LOL.
I've thought about a used Tow-pac kit, sidecar or the kit I'm asking about. Just weighting my options. Plus it almost never hurts to ask. Thanks dave

Thanks Alley,That's more like it. I see what you are talking about. Now that I have comparison to go by it's obviously very under engineered compared to the ice bear set up. Do you have a pic of the 300cc trike axle set up or assembly.
Thanks again Dave

I decided to buy my trikes as is. Any time you do a mod like this there is always a potential for error and problems. This way I got a warranty also.

Alley, you have to much free time on your hands. LOL Well its all a moot point now. Just got back from a 573 mile round trip to Knoxville Tennessee to pick up a tow pac mini. I got it for $750 off CL. It rained all up and back. Man what a nasty day. Maybe I can get installed in a week or two If it ever stops raining. Dave
