ok so i adjusted the valves on my tao tao 50cc gy6 scoot and got it running. i cleaned the carb and charged the battery, and gave it a new spark plug. she starts, she runs. but it revs all by its self and dies when i try to rev it. whats my next step here? here is a video i made to show what i am talking about.

You can drill the plug out it is about 1/8 thick, so get a 1/16 drill bit and only drill no more than 1/8 DEEP then get a small pointed screw screw it in and pull it out. Alleyoop

Here is how-to But I would use a screw to pull it out and not use a bigger drill bit. Alleyoop

I cant get it to move forward with me on it. it just dies. I hate to keep buggin you but now what? i feel like i am super close to getting this thing on the road. all the electrics work. i just need it to scoot!

Did you adjust the CARB??
On the center stand twist the throttle it should REV up and the RPMS should come down pretty quick to the IDLE that you set. If it won't REV up on the CENTER STAND smoothly you have not adjusted the FUEL RATIO MIXTURE correctly. Alleyoop

Make sure you put the carb on right NO AIR LEAKS and the AIR FILTER CONNECTED. After it idles for about 5 minutes to allow the ENRICHER TO SHUT off the EXTRA fuel that is when you want to adjust the MIXTURE. From wherever the screw is at TRY COUNTER CLOCKWISE 1/4 turns only and LISTEN, IF THE IDLE GOES UP REPEAT until it does not go up or starts to go down then TURN IT BACK CLOCKWISE 1/8.
IF turning it COUNTER CLOCKWISE does NOT RAISE THE IDLE then REPEAT THE PROCEDURE CLOCKWISE. YOU WANT THE HIGHEST IDLE OUT OF THE ADJUSTMENT. THEN LOWER the IDLE USING the IDLE SPEED SCREW that is the one on the THROTTLE CONTROL WHEEL with the SPRING ON IT. TO LOWER the IDLE GO COUNTER CLOCKWISE. Alleyoop

in your bouncing idle post i see an arrow pointing to the fuel ratio screw at the bottom of the fourth picture on the float bowl, but i am not seeing anything in the picture or on my carb. is there another plug that needs to be removed? im sure im goin gto feel dumb once you point it out.

Here is a picture of your carb and I labeled the PLUG and what you should be adjusting the screw behind that plug that you drilled out. Alleyoop

Do this TURN THAT SCREW clockwise until it STOPS do not force it just until it STOPS. COUNT THE NUMBER OF TURNS it took to stop.
Now turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE 2 turns and start from there. Give the Throttle a quick Twist and let go and see if it revs up and the RPMS drop down to IDLE. If it BOGS turn it CLOCKWISE 1/4 turn and see if it is better or worse IF WORSE then GO COUNTER CLOCKWISE BUT ONLY 1/4 turns. Alleyoop

K I have it set to two full turns out counter clockwise like you said but I'm gonna have to wait till tomorrow to test it and mess with it. It's almost midnight and Im sure my neIghtbors are not happy with me for revving it at 10 pm let alone 1130. So it'll have to wait. Thanks again so much for all the help to this point. Ill let you know where I am at tomorrow with it
