OK thats why I was thinking KZ used a honda shaft. Any way it don't look like it is the end of the world type of repair.

Your right..the splines were inside the clutch bell
I know. I was seeing my past with your pictures. I don't like the ground gear look of my top picture which is why I prefer the PFS shaft. It looks more like a replica Helix shaft. Plus PFS delivers fast and Matt is a former member here. I talk to him on Facebook all the time. Oh, and order the gasket, just in case. I lucked out and it didn't tear so I reused the old one. I also have a gasket in stock too.
Honest. It will take you about three or four hours from where you are now to complete the job. Even an old guy like me didn't find it that bad.

Thanks. But they don't have rings or clips either.. I have found them elsewhere.. but just wanted my life as easy as possible and make one order for it all.. lol.. its all good. I will order that shaft from pfs.. thanks
EDIT::
Ordered! Now to wait.... I am pretty decent at making my own gaskets and have material already... so i chose not to order the gasket... if it leaks, u can say "TOLD YOU TO ORDER THE GASKET" and make fun... LMAO thanks again

It made my weight in variator jump around.. so I got to look inside of it today. . One roller has a slight flat spot.. I think I will wait tell next month to get some dr pulley sliders for this bad boy...

GOOD JOB, the rollers you can roll then in the ramps and position them so the Flat Spots are not on top or the bottom of the ramp. The only thing is they will be lighter weight due to less material from the flat spots. Alleyoop

Don't let that intermediate shaft pop out of the case. There's a washer behind it that's a bear to get back on. Sorry you have to wait until Monday, where are you anyway? I ordered mine on Tuesday at 11:30 AM and it was in my hands at 10:00 AM Thursday. Of course I knew it was coming so I bagged the Post Office guy as he passed on the other side of the street. Otherwise I wouldn't have had it until 2:00 PM, by which time I was test riding it.

I am in Kansas City area... and as i slid the shaft out.. it pulled all the gears out a lil bit... i tried for like 20 mins to get it back together... and finally realized that the washer in front of the middle gear needed to be off in order to get back on... DERRRR....
but i dont know what washer u speak of in the back... the other issue i had was getting the bearing off the shaft.... couple swift smacks with a hammer did good job...

I gave mine a couple of smacks too, to get it off. Then found out later that one of the dowels had fallen off. I improvised with another one, put it together and found the one I lost two days later in the spot I had checked for ten minutes and couldn't find it. that too is in my collection of spare parts. I'm sure we're talking about the same washer. I just remember fiddling with one on the intermediate shaft until I was......steaming. Grease finally held it where I needed it, but it had me going.
Your pictures are making me quake. I'll be doing that job again in my sleep tonight.

HAHAHA, what you should have done is count the teeth on the two gears so you would know what was in there and then you could make a good decision on which gears to get. Alleyoop
