I don't hink it was a dirt road because they say he crossed the CENTER line , unless they've started painting lines on gravel roads now.lolol But I'm just saying this guy got off lucky with only moderate injuries. Should have been wearing a helmet. It sounds more like he fell asleep.

I don't understand not wearing a helmet. It just seems like you are asking for it.

I live outside of Cincinnati and see several scooters and many bikes. As of today. I have not seen even one bike rider wearing a helmet, nor have I seen one scooter rider not wearing a helmet. You have to wonder about the intelligence of bikers. When I was riding my Honda, and anytime I ride my trike, I wear my helmet. Are bikers suicidal? Shally

Here in New York it's the law, but given the attitude of many they wouldn't if they could. I don't think they're exactly suicidal, but are pretty short sighted. After all accidents happen to other people, not them.
It's why cars have air bags, really. After all seat belts are too uncomfortable and inconvenient. So you see Bikers aren't suicidal, people are just stupid.

About 10 years ago I was in the back at a quick stop in a booth reading the state newspaper and drinking coffee. My Bandit and helmet was out front and the way I was dressed no one would have ever suspected I was the rider. (t-shirt and shorts) In comes a herd of village people/harley riders. Almost immediately They were discussing how dangerous it was to wear a helmet. One after another cited their dearly departed friends and loved ones who died of a broken neck while crashing their harleys while wearing a helmet. I did the right thing and finished the newspaper and coffee and said nothing. You can't fix stupid.

Luke I watched the video 3 times and have come to the conclusion that he has to be riding a jap scooter because you keep saying the chinese ones break too easy. But the guy riding the scooter has to be an Asian for sure, crazy and drunk as hell to boot.

Gravel roads and scoots do not mix... Most scooter riders here in Florida only wear a helmet as they do not have insurance. If you have insurance you are not required to wear one. One stupid law...

i spilt once caused by puddle sitting for some time and grew algae in it. damn, twas a very horrible experience,i was riding two up with my gf, now wife. jct, the scene was shot in china, and we all know that china and japan are rivals when it comes to manufacturing motorized vehicles. so there's no way a japanese business can penetrate china market, and vice versa....copish?!!! well, come to think of it, it might be a japanese scoot afterall, because it had hit several cars and trucks but still up and running untill it ditches...ok, to avoid further arguements let just say that the scooter is japanese but the rider is a chinese...how's that sound? The question arises: having seen how that chinese guy rides,,would you trust him to assemble your chinese scooter? oh gosh!!....not a chance...jct,kz and rapidboy are risk takers..... lol

Let's see, Automotoguy has been taking risks just fine for 40,000 miles on his GY6 Baccio and 35,000 miles on his Automoto. He's way more of a risk taker than all of the scooter owners here.
Just look at that 35,000 mile old China GY6 go!
And oh my heavens! Look at this 40,000 mile GY6 run!
