On my Roketa MC-54-250, when I start out my day and ready to ride, when I give her gas there is a jerking/ bucking vibration coming from the rear, I'm assuming it is the CVT Belt. If I need to change the rollers in the Variator, I would like to add something that would give me more RPM's and speed, I see the websites have all different weights any suggestions on them and also what type of belt? I have the CF/ Moto engine.
Thanks

It's a stretched belt. I would also check the clutch nut while in there. www.scooterbelt.com 828-22.5-30 Get the Gates belt. Oh wait, you should have the bigger wheels than mine. 918-22.5-30

Best is to check what size the current belt is on there now. Also it may not be the belt it may be the CLUTCH PADS maybe one of the arms is broke or spring broke etc..
Or it could just be GLAZED pads and are not grabbig the bell with low rpms. If so just sand the glaze off it is very common on the 250s+ scoots due to the weight and slow driving. Alleyoop

Thanks so far, But what about the rollers what weight I see there are many different ones. Is it the heavier the more RPM's or vise versa?
Thanks

Lighter weights make the engine rev more at a given speed.

I think I would take the cover off and really see what the problem is. Kinda hard to tell just asking about the weights.... Like what the doc asks...where does it hurt....need to check....

Jerking and shuttering when starting off is your CLUTCH PADS they are slipping and not grabbing the bell good enough. It is not your variator weights that is causing that problem. Like I said it is very common on the 250s+ when starting off with low RPMS. Alleyoop

Thanks Allyoop for the info on the clutch pads, I ordered the gates belt, from Scrappy Dog Scooters, however I do not see a source for Clutch Pads.

Generally you replace the clutch assembly. Ive never just seen the arms and pads. Besides youll be getting new springs and torque spring as well. Scrappy or partsforscooters.com has them for about 30 bucks too

On my 250 jonway, when I take off, it shakes real bad until I hit 10mph, the mechanic at a2z said it's the clutch and he cleaned it w/ sand paper, a lot better now
