I'm looking for a relatively QUITE performance muffler/exhaust system for my GY6 150cc based Chinese Ruckus clone. My Scooter is an MC-D150L (You can find it on Google) The motor is a shortcase 157QMJ 150cc
A removable baffle, noise reducer or db killer is very much a requirement (I am aware that this component hampers performance) I would much rather the muffler canister didn't protrude past my rear wheel so the muffler-canister should be under 14". The header pipe should be designed for a standard GY6 QMJ head configuration, with the standard GY6 piston head flange bolt configuration. I have had three after market exhausts on this scooter designed for the Chinese GY6 150cc configuration and all fitted just fine. However they have disappointed in other ways, either poor performance or just too noisy. Lately I tried the TurboKit M4T34-N and had to send it back as it's header flange bolt configuration did not seem to match the regular GY6 QMJ configuration and left the header muffler sticking out the side of the scooter at a diagonal to the line of the bike. What I would like is something like the TurboKit exhaust system that fits, and it would be absolutely awesome if it was in chrome. Thank-you in advance to anyone that may be able to give me some pointers or suggestions.

Well a performance Muffler will never be as quite as the ones with all the baffles in them. So you will have to put up with a little more noise. I got the Supertrapp Muffler which you can adjust the amount of flow out of the muffler. To get more free flow you add more discs which means louder as well Less discs less free flow and quieter. Alleyoop This is the SuperTrapp Muffler I have on my Trike: www.supertrapp.com/product_sections/cat.asp?CatID=34And here is how it sounds:

I lost the baffle out of my muffler so it is real loud now. It wasn't bad at first. I have a new muffler just like the old one coming from tvnacman. testedscooterparts.com/It is supposedly tunable also. It will not be a stealth scooter but hopefully it is quiet enough for me. I need all the performance I can get with a heavy 50cc trike. I doubt my scoot muffler was ever as quiet as the one that came with your scoot but check with tvnacman. I have the reverse trike ruckus clone+ from scooter depot.
