I used $16 amber strobe flashers front and rear angled in three directions. The police were not really enthused about them because my scoot is not really a slow moving vehicle, but it is legal on a motorized 'bicycle' in Kansas......

My headlights are only legal because I fall under the bicycle lighting rules also.

Mark- I have four white LED lights on the front of my scoot.

Dual 27W LED 'spotlights' described as: High Power LED Work Lights 27W 10-30vDC 2150 lumens Spot 30degree beam Waterproof IP67, Current 2.25A @12v, 1.125A @24v 30,000+hours life, 6000K Cool White Heavy duty 4.3" Round.

Dual Euro Style Motorcycle Chromed Billet Aluminum 24 LED White lamps. Generally used for Fog Lights, Blinkers, Indicators, Side Marker, or Turn Signals on motorcycles. These 'marker' lights are aimed at a slight angle outwards to 'signal' cage drivers approaching an intersection.

Most Ruckus style scoots have dual ~4-1/2" round headlights. Mine originally had dual 18W halogens with dual 4W incandescent marker lights built into the housing. The lights sucked...

John, those valve cap lights are interesting but I don't know about the multi-color aspect. Do they run on batteries? I have side reflectors fore and aft with a white/red reflective stripe down the sides of the floorpan. I am considering more reflective stripes but I have not convinced myself to put them on painted surfaces like fenders etc.

I want to get myself one of those utility worker bomber jackets in lime green with reflective stripes also. I haven't found the right one yet and I am leery of the sizes with mail order. I am tough to fit, 6'4" tall, 210#, 50" barrel chest, and 37" waist. Normal clothing just does not fit right. I also need exercise but I have been avoiding it because if I go to the gym it will just get worse.

pros:
your scooter will look like a christmas tree in wheels...lol


cons:

1)it will upset the wheel balance
2)the police will stop you
3)might break the existing valve stem( especially if it's a chinese valve stem, it pops out by itself,how much more if you attach that puppy to it..i can just imagine)
4) if you use different colors,it will resemble a rainbow, and rainbow connotes something...being so gay..LOL

that's all...so now think 100 times before u buy it..LOL

There multi colors and solid colors , as for the batteries they only light when spinning .

Not sure how long they last , small round batteries .
