Yes, I do, occasionally have a slight shimmy on takeoff. I just take off quicker (LOL) OK, I'll take the rear wheels off and get em balanced, and make sure the damper is tight.
And, as far as being a lemon, I'm sure hubby will wind up with some lemonade.
Malevelina: I still think the red one is nicest Enjoy it

Thanks Dave, Kz, and everyone else. I'm having the wheels and tires balanced Monday the 3rd. I'm sure it will be fine after that. I get her insured and licensed on the 31st so she'll be good to go after the wheels are balanced. I can't wait!!! :-D

Ok here's an update for you all...My trike is up and running and took her maiden voyage yesterday after I had the wheels balanced. OMG!!!! She runs great, rides great, and handles FABULOUSLY!!! I didn't realize how fast I was going till I looked at the speedometer and saw it hitting 50 mph. She tears up the road now. Thank you everyone...I now have a trike in top running condition because of Larry's hard work and all your help...and of course a big thanks to Ice Bear for standing behind their product. :-D

Just a heads up. You're trike has the Linhai Yamaha engine in it. It will most likely require a valve adjustment in the next 600 miles or so. The procedure to adjust them is in the tech section. It's normal. You'll know it's absolutely necessary when the bike becomes hard to start and tries to stall after it's warm.

That is so w h a t I wanted to hear. Not sure how u plan to break it in (easy does it or rode it like ya stole it) But yea, it should do 60+ with ease (yes, I know 50 is actually 45) MPG, I don't know and don't care. Mine is a toy to ride and have fun with. And the handling becomes easier the more u ride it
I've got 1000+ miles on mine and it started right up yesterday on the 2nd push of the button after sitting for a long time in the garage at zero degrees.
Only problem I had was a water hose that rubbed against the frame and caused a leak. easy fix.
But, seems hubby fixed most everything else.
Enjoy The Ride

Fastest 150 Trike bored out thanks to you JIM, the sucker really moves out and I am about to put in 18/36 gears replacing the 16/37 you put in(HAHA). Alleyoop Your very welcome Alley. I am glad you are enjoying it. It was a pleasure doing it for you. BTW, the Chief of Police here still talks about you. Sadly, he retired Friday and we had a party for him last night.
