Yep Another day surely sounds a little drier, just not sure which day that might be!!!
Also, out of 3 Garage Queen Scoots 2 are out of Garage Queen Status, & the 3rd on it's way off Garage Queen Status... I have all the needed parts just have to clear the bench...

OK Doc's Got to take the BEAR on it's first test run since getting it back together w/ the repaired drive train & sitting all torn apart for 6 months... 25 mile test ride went absolutely Great!!!!!! Drive train felt vary solid through out the whole trip... Did a lot of forward & reversing around the house, felt vary smooth & vary solid going from forward to reverse, & reverse to forward... Absolutely no shuddering, jumping, skipping from launch or acceleration from a dead stop, or powering up a steep hill at a corner... The added Radial Ball Bearing makes the whole drive train feel a lot more solid... Now it's time to get the last Garage Queen ("06 Longbo)up on the bench... YA, now that's what I'm talking about!!! David Sr., That is Fantastic!! The Blue Streak is again Streaking:) Great to hear that the Tranny feels a lot better with the extra Bearing support. How do you like the Taller Gearing you put in, notice any difference. Alleyoop

A Doc's It 23 deg. & lots of snow, but today the roads were clear & dry... The BEAR had another great 50 mile run today... The upgraded Final Drive is working flawlessly, NICE, NICE!!!
Anyone that decides to upgrade the final drive unit w/ the added bearing will need to open the oil passage between the final drive unit & the forward/ reverse gear box to 1/2" diameter so the gear oil can flow back & forth between the to units... If this isn't done the gear oil gets sucked into the final unit from the forward/ reverse gear box causing the final unit to become over full & then spitting the gear oil out the vent... Enlarging the passage to 1/2" will fix this...
Alley I relayed this to Jim, so I'm sure he'll look into this on your trike...

Wildman, FANTASTIC!!! I am glad to hear that The Blue Streak is Streaking again and better than before. I guess the Bear got enough rest and sleep waiting for the parts:)
Wildman, thanks for relaying the Oil Flow problem in the Tranny to Jim and how to fix that. He mentioned it me on one of our telephone conversations and he will drill out the passage out to your specifications. Alleyoop

Well Alley's 150H is tore apart on my bench right now. (Think I will send it back in pieces LOL). The cases are at the machine shop for boring, now his tranny section has a bearing in the case for the final drive shaft. Now I am wondering if Wildman's was a manufacturing error? ?? Jim, Hey Bro!! Pictures man pictures, I want to save them on my computer to show my sons.
WOW!! So that missing bearing in the case is already on mine That is probably why I was not having as much trouble as some of the other folks with Jumping and shattering back there. Alleyyoop
