Daveloh, Which Trike do you have and what kind of problems are you having? With 15.5Gram Sliders your rpms will drop like crazy. Mine just three weeks ago started to jump and shutter taking off but after the rear end warmed up it would stop. I rechecked my Reverse Cable and tested it and all was good. So then I took off the Clutch and noticed what the problem was. One Pad was way thicker than the other two and that was causing the shuttering, jumping and gear noise. So since I had a new clutch that I had ordered months ago I installed it and now its running like new really smooth. Alleyoop

Hey Alleyoop! Thanks much! I have a new clutch that I will install when my parts order arrives. I believe my scooter is an -09. If you come across any data about the best way to take the body off this model, I would appreciate knowing about it.
Thanks again!

daveloh The bearing that was left out is the same output shaft, left engine case bearing that's use it most Chinese scoots... I'm still waiting for warranty parts for my trike...

Daveloh, Aileronjack has a PST150-9, I know he took it apart because he had pictures with most of the body off. I will email him and let him know that someone with an -09 needs some info about take the panels off in the Trike section. Alleyoop

Hey! Thanks much. I got a message from aileronjack and thanked him. I need to know that to finish long overdue PDI items.
However, right now my main problem is how to adjust the spring loaded shifter. It looks like it is turned too far away from the cable bracket. (ie. more tyoward the 2 o'clock position)
Someone on a thread that I lost mentioned a nut under that unit which could be loosened and the unit lifted and turned slightly back toward the cable holder. I'm nost sure that I see a nut under there that would allow that. (All cable adjustments have failed.) I have reverse disconnected for the present and the scooter runs smoothly in forward.
I don't know whether it was the new clutch that I mentioned, heavier slider weights or just disconnecting the reverse.
Oh the trials and tribulations!
Again, thanks for your interest and passing on my body inquiries.

Daveloh, Personally, I don't use the Reverse, the Trike is easy to push forward or backward and mine weighs 353lbs. Yours is even lighter it is under 300lbs. If it does not shutter in forward I would not bother with the Reverse, it is more of a problem than its worth.
The newer models do not come with Reverse or Pull Start. If my engine goes I will order one without Reverse even though you can get one with Reverse. Alleyoop

A Guy's The Big Bad BEAR will be coming back to life soon!!! Today I received the WARRANTY left side engine case w/ the final drive & the forward/ reverse gear box complete & fully intact!!! Why couldn't they have done that 6 months ago?? In a few days I'll have a new bearing that will fix the reason why the final drive came apart in the first place...
I'll keep you all posted...

wolfhound Yep, 6 months...
Now I have to split the original engine & assemble the right half to the new left half... Then I'll have to open the final drive & forward/ reverse gear box to inspect it... Have to see if this new unit has 2 radial ball bearings or just 1... The reason the original final drive unit blew apart was because they only had 1 radial ball bearing on the 1 end of the final output shaft & supporting the other end of the output shaft w/ the forward/ reverse gear box which is a double set of needle bearings which isn't designed to be used for radial support they're there for the support of the forward/ reverse gear unit to slide in a linear motion & not for supporting the shaft.... So I bought a new Japan Open Radial Beep Groove Ball Bearing from VXB Ball Bearings Company (part #6004) to add the the final drive unit where it's missing...

David Sr., Reason I asked about it is this is what you said: "Today I received the WARRANTY left side engine case w/ the final drive & the forward/ reverse gear box complete & fully intact!!!"
So I am thinking the whole rear part where the Front sprocket comes out is an installable box. But take pictures and then we will all know exactly what it looks like. Alleyoop
