A few days ago I had my plastics off to do a PDI. At the same time I changed my headlamp bulbs from the original dull ones to 50/50 HID's, and they work great! They fit right into the original sockets. So now I can drive at night with confidence.
The only problem is, now my turn indicators and emergency flasher don't work. The turn indicator lamps work ok with the alarm system, but not with the turn switch or the flasher switch. I replaced the flasher and, after waiting a couple of seconds, they worked for a few flashes, and then stopped. I never installed an HID kit... just changed the headlamps themselves. Does anybody have a clue as to what might be happening?! I have a 2008 yy250t 244cc. I love it!

Circuits draw what they need. That's why you can jump a scooter off of a truck battery (not running!). It draws what it needs. Those HIDs are sucking on the system and when you try a turn signal...bzzzt. Install the system meant for the HIDs or go back to stock,

another alternative is to keep the hid lites and switch to led flasher and bulbs,,,they draw nothing,,and will work because the flasher relay works if there is a load or not,,i run them on my bikes they are great

Chances are the 50/50 lamps are sucking the power dry. You need to be careful that you dont kill the mag. Try the LED up grade to all the other lights including the brake lights. Look for SMD LED's. Single element Running and turn lights minimum 5 watts. Dual element look for 3/7 watt. In reality you want as big as you can fit in the lamp housing. But you are already pushing your system with the 50 watt headlamp. I am sure your scoot was not designed for that much of a headlight. Dont forget the LED flasher unit. Do not I repeat, DO NOT use resistor packs with your LED's. Buy the flasher unit.
Can you answer one question, is this a single or dual headlight system?

Mine was a two prong with a ground wire and fork termination for a solid ground to frame but I've seen 3prong ones on eBay and they are inexpensive as well
